Hostal Coloane — Hotel in Puerto Natales

Juan and Betsy are running such a great place - it has everything you would need and want in Puerto Natales. We stayed 3 nights before and 1 night after our W trek, once in the double and once in the triple room, and both rooms were cozy and comfortable. The bathrooms are immaculate and seem to have endless hot water - exactly what you would want after 5 days on the trek. Breakfast was simple but delicious, with the first taste of proper coffee since arriving in Argentina. Kitchen is very well stocked (better than any true 'hostel'). Betsy and Juan know a ton about the area and answered all of our questions in the lead up to the W - they were generally just great to have a chat with. We ended up here by accident, the place we had booked and stayed in before we went to the NP had a problem, so they organised a room for us here, and it was so much better than the place we had booked originally! Friendly hosts, a beautiful home, great knowledge of the town and area, and delicious breakfast with proper coffee off the wood stove! I wish we'd known about this place when we first arrived in Puerto Natales and wish we'd had more time to relax there. There's also a great pastry shop on the next block. This is a great small hostel to stay at in Puerto Natales! It is about a 15-20 min walk from the bus station. It is centrally located for everything in town including the waterfront that has amazing sunsets! Juan was very helpful answering all my questions and making notes on a map of all the locations I wanted to visit in Puerto Natales before hiking the W-circuit.
