Do yourself a favour! This place is amazing. I don’t usually leave a google review but this was a special experience.
I was so tired from the W trek, I walked in and wasn’t sure if they had dinner as well as the bakery sweets/empanadas on offer.
Sebastian introduced himself and his wife Debbie and then started talking food… the second his big beautiful words started flowing I knew this would be special.
He speaks good English but still all I heard was 12 hr slow cooked brisket…I stopped listening, I was just so happy and content to be in the presence of an artist. I felt a warm glow pass over me as I knew all my worries and concerns were gone. The was the first time I’d been warm in 5 days.
I had a grin ear to ear when Sebastian asked me what I’d like, I said “please make me whatever you think is best, it all sounds amazing”. I refused to even pick a type of sauce, I didn’t want to get in the way of his magic.
After a short wait he walked out and said “here you go mate” - in perfect Australian- I honestly thought I was going to cry.
The room smelt incredible and my mouth was salivating in anticipation. It’s a shame I had to get takeaway but I didn’t want his beautiful family to see me devour this meal in one bite.
One bite did I say? The brisket burger that I unravelled before me, alongside a mountain of home cut fries and a bottle of vino, was nothing short of enormous.
The bread was homemade and exceptional, the sight of the perfectly browned top made my eyes glisten with happiness.
When I lifted the lid for a peak, I actually cried out with joy. I couldn’t help but feel like everything I’d ever dreamt of was sitting right there in front of me.
I vaguely remembered Sebastian talking about different cheeses and pickles, mushrooms and brisket and as the steam gently subsided I picked my jaw up of the floor and decided this is why we live.
Patagonia was amazing but this brisket is what filled my dreams last...

With an array of delicious empanadas, savory brisket burgers, and indulgent desserts, this bakery is a hidden gem for anyone who loves good food 👌
The star of the show is undoubtedly their fresh, locally caught, centolla (king crab) empanada. The tender, flaky crust gives way to a rich, succulent filling of king crab, perfectly seasoned to highlight the natural sweetness of the seafood. It’s a rare find, and one that’s executed to perfection here. Equally impressive is the brisket empanada, where slow-cooked, melt-in-your-mouth brisket is paired with just the right amount of spice, creating a hearty and satisfying bite.
For the burger lovers, their brisket burgers are a must-try. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, these burgers are elevated by the bakery’s house-made sourdough and potato buns, which are soft, freshly baked and hold together so well - a perfect complement to the rich, smoky brisket.
When it comes to desserts, the bakery continues to impress. Their apple and caramel kuchen is a delightful balance of sweet and savoury, with a tender crumb that melts in your mouth. And the muffins are moist, fluffy, and bursting with freshness.
What sets this bakery apart are the owners and their commitment to unique, high-quality ingredients and their knack for crafting unforgettable flavor combinations.

Read moreI rated five stars because this place looks amazing. Unfortunately, the few times I went by, they were closed (even after verifying their open hours on Google). It was only a couple minute walk from my Airbnb. It's basically a house with one side set up as a bakery. Seems to be where you find some of the best baked goods and empanadas. When I peeked in, I saw some bread and a few pastry items. I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to go here, but if you're in the neighborhood, definitely stop by and see if...
