Hotel was within walking distance of the bus station but a bit away from the center of the town and the waterfront, although the town is small enough for everything to be within 20-30 minutes away from one another by foot at the maximum. Welcome was great. We arrived in the early evening and the owner of the hotel was there to greet me and my children. The owner's daughter even took us around town to get our bearings and help us take care of errands. We had a triple room (number 3) just outside the main house- no wifi in the room (even though the hotel claims it has it), no window, so dark and hot, but bathroom had hot water and basic amenities. Room was quiet as away from the main street. Not sure if the floor was vacuumed thoroughly every day. The two mornings we were there, someone was available to serve us very early full breakfasts with a smile in a cozy dining room. They had also arranged a private taxi for us to take us to Torres del Paine. I loved being able to use the kitchen in the main house to make myself lunches for the next day or a cup of tea at night. Main problem was communication with the staff since no one at the hotel spoke English, so we had misunderstandings about the price of the room, the price of our private tour, how we would pay for our tour. In the end, the hotel even threatened us about the payment, which I found unprofessional and upsetting. It was too bad our stay had to end that way because we were very positive about the service at the...
