This hotel is very unique. Run by an independent owner who's very passionate about slowly improving the hotel, giving her customers great experiences and socially empowering those less fortunate.||The owner herself runs around, managing the front desk, making breakfast in the morning, training the staff (mostly with down syndrome), and managing improvements on the property.||The room was light and roomy, the bed was pretty comfortable. ||The only downside was the bathroom - it was dated but again, she is making improvements. The door to the shower was small, I was able to fit but I'm fairly skinny; I can imagine those with a bigger frame may not be able to fit. The shower's small and low (I'm 6'2); but good enough.||It's close to the water and walking distance to everything.
