STARBUCKS K11 Shop — Restaurant in Kowloon

This Starbucks on the G/F of the K11 Art Mall has been around since near the opening of the mall nearly 15 years ago. Many coffee shops have come and gone over the years but this Starbucks has remained steadfast. They have a normal setup and same list of coffees, non-coffees and food items you will find at their branches throughout the city.

This is high foot traffic area in TST so this branch is regularly full up with customers, as are other coffee shops at the mall and in the area. I've passed by from time to time over the years, recently had a quick espresso that tasted as expected, like what is usually served at our other Starbucks branches around city.

In short, if you want to try something different or local, give Urban Coffee Roasters, just across the street, a try. They do very good coffee and better than average food items. However, they are also often just as full up as this Starbucks. N1 Coffee and Reactions Coffee a couple minutes walk along Mody Rd are also good local options in the area these days. Worst Starbucks ever. We ordered one cuppocino, chai latte and a bacon egg and cheddar cheese sandwich. The cuppocino tasted like they poured so leftover espresso and blended it with steamed milk and water. It tasted like chemical and plastic. Disgusting. The chai latte just tasted water with steamed milk. Well, to the sandwich; got ham instead of bacon, some other cheese instead of cheddar cheese.

Anyhow, the cashier didn't even know the name of the products they had and we told them that we'll be sitting there. After a while the cashier came to us with a bag and asked if we ordered take away. We said no. Then she went back and came back to our table and almost like throwing the plates on our table and ran back.

I really like this Starbucks locations, very close to k11. Also has a quiet ambient environment during mornings till early afternoon until it gets a bit crowded in the afternoon. Staff are overall nice. But there is one lady who is a bit upfront when ordering. Maybe she is trying to cater to customers needs. But does seem a bit aggressive when you are still trying to decide what to order. All other staff are super patient tho. Environment is quite clean.
