Full rent had been paid by Credit card when booked online 5 months before arrival. But when checked in, counter staff insisted I had to pay again in HK dollar and claimed the full amount I paid was just a deposit, otherwise no money no room and also said paying in credit/debit card would occur 5% of management fee. These conditions never state on Booking.com website.||When I returned home and checked the refund was NZ$95 short what I paid due to currency conversion on different dates.||I understand that hotelier/motlier asking renters to sign a credit card to secure their income in case of customers don't turn up or cause damage to them but not in this case..||It is a poor maintenance budget motel. I booked a double room for myself only, but the toilet bowl blocked at least twice. It took half day to flush all the droppings and dirt, the management had been informed but it didn't show any great improvement. ||4. The cabin supplied single power point with usb charger, but the usb charger was faulty||5. The hot water supply for shower was restricted, not 24 hours. The Management excuse is: Protection of environments. ||and I had 2 nights in cold shower due to faulty hot water supply system.||6.
