You cannot expect more from a crowded area with that price. The so-called hotel is little bit difficult to find, even when I askes the ladies at the opposite side of the street. So it will be around 50m from Hai Phong road and on the right side. You will see a small door, you go into the small, old, not -so-clean elevator to 5th floor, the receptionist is there. The rooms are small, and that should only be the place to sleep after a long day out. Choose a room with windows so you can have some fresh air. The plus point is it is very near from Tsim Sha Tsui station and there are many restaurants around.

As a Hungarian, I drilled a bit about the smells and the loud street that flooded the room, but I can get used to it. Excellent accommodation with nice staff. Many are close to the accommodation. Great location. Room is just right for a tourist, not big but not small. Next time I go to Hong Kong, I would definitely choose this accommodation again.

5/5 due to value. all things being equal it's a 3/5. but for the value this place is a 5. by far. i will be back...so read....||||this hotel was usd $70 a night booked 4 days out (where ratchet 2 star hotels were $180usd a night).. we stayed at the sheraton the following night which was tons of points+$110usd per night, but yeah anyways.....we knew what we were doing.||||hotel was very small, in a super high density apartment/commercial/restaurant building. you can climb 6 storeys of stairs or take their old hong kong elevator.||||location is 100. actually it's 11/10. you're in kowloon, 1 block from nathan. yeah the area is "rough" in a hong kong kind of way but it's my favorite.||||you buzz the door on floor six, lady lets you in, speaks no english but you show her the passport, gives you the keys. our room was on floor 7. oh by the way the rates are 20% cheaper if you book on w'chat the location has stairs all the way so if you like me and you need your exercise you can climb the 6-7 storeys but if not you can take the one elevator which works fine but it's long/always used and will def make the premium traveller uneasy but its general filthiness and hong kong-ness. it works but eh just climb them steps. unless you infirm then i respect that. ||||the room was bloody small (had to coordinate how we stepped over each other and use the restroom), the shower/bathroom had a glass door and you had to retract a curtain to shower in privacy, but i knew this going in. i was with a colleague (i'm 30 and he 60) and we got 2 doubles and that is exactly what we got. SUPER SMALL but you and we knew this. the air conditioner remote was weird and couldn't adjust above 17c (our host/front desk agent knew and owned up to this)(boohoo), so being it was winter we had to turn it off every half hour (boohoo). but yes you get an individual ac unit in your room and it definitely works (based on our experience). other than that the facilities were above average clean (7/10), the shower/bathroom were 10/10. the shower was very fresh, has that typical asian setup of shower/toilet/sink being in the same 4ft*3ft room...so protect the toilet paper they give you. shower was actually very refreshing and my colleague who hated this place did remark it was good shower. good water flow and hot water (once you turn on the hot water tank 15 mins before you shower). the towels were very clean and nice, which is my key criteria when judging a place. ||||the tv had about 8 channels, 6 of them hong kong, but one of them had the oj made in america series (with mandarin subtitles) which was entertaining for 45 mins .||||beds were VERY hard. i like it that way but my colleague struggled during his sleep. ||||all in all locationvalue cannot be beat but realize when you pay 1/3 the price in hong kong you're getting an independent micro hotel room that is very well--but not impeccably--cleaned (vents had dust, found an empty water bottle underneath the bed).||||i highly recommend this place. but just realize what you pay for is what you get. it's super cheap (by hong kong standards) but you get a clean, private place. the common areas are very clean.||||overall this place is 3/5 (i tend to stay--and love--luxury hotels) but the pricevalue proposition cannot be beat and to me that makes it a 5. just realize when you pay $80usd a night in a neighborhood that beckons $200, you're "only" getting a clean, super tiny micro flat with a...

|First of all, I would first of all like to comment that this hotel does have its good points - reasonably clean and conveniently located with good local food directly below. The Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station is also located less than 5 minutes walk away.||However I've to be frank that I did not have a very good time staying here. Why so? Cleanliness wise the room was clean and immediate hotel premise was clean and good too. However the room was super small which was somehow either not mentioned much by other reviewers or the photos taken were not relevant for the room which I stayed in - single room. The room floor space was only available for the bed and some walking space( which is just enough to put your luggage).||If you stretch your legs a little, it will also be enough to touch both sides of the wall. Amenities are also very basic - one small glass( for you to have a drink and also to brush teeth). Good thing was that there's a hair dryer present but the bad news is that the hot air blown is very weak - feels more like a 300W hairdryer and nowhere close to a 1200W, not to mention 1800W hairdryer. As you can see from the photo here, the toilet is also very small. So small that basically 3/4 to 80% of the toilet gets wet during shower. Water pressure for both shower and tap is very weak too such that you need to shower a little longer to wash off the soap.||Last but not least, what may be disappointing is that unlike many hotels, this hotel does not have a decent and prominent lobby of its own and its not easy to find. Its lobby is tucked on Level 5 of the older apartments and its rooms distributed between level 5 and 6 based on what I know. I am not biased against this hotel but I certainly feel its not worth the price tag of $100/night which I paid for. Based on my experience, with the same price tag, I could stay at a slightly more cozy room, which is not too far from this 'hotel'.||Conclusion : location is not too bad after all as MTR is located less than 3 muns walk away and there's a nice Macau Cafe with other eateries right below this hotel. If one is willing to overlook the short comings which I have mentioned, of course this hotel can...

It took me about 10 minutes just to locate the entrance to this hotel. Didn't realized that it was on a shared entrance building as it's very typical in Hong Kong for a few premises to do so. The hotel should really put more signage on the entrance to avoid any unnecessary confusion, especially when the guest is carrying heavy luggage. The hotel is located on the 5th floor if I'm not mistaken & you can access it by stairs (after going thru restaurants, some law office, massage parlor?) or using the dodgy old elevator that makes you feel like being in a horror movie. The lobby, if you can call it a lobby, is just a tiny space with a reception desk & my room is strategically located just side by side with the reception area. The room itself is officially the smallest hotel room that I had been to in my whole travel experience. I found it very hard to just move around the room with 2 suitcases lying down on the floor. Luckily the room is very clean, especially the bathroom too, which is a major plus point for me. Wi-fi connection is also very fast. The main advantage of this place is its location, it's located smack bang in the middle of Tsim Sha Tsui area, which is very useful. The MTR station is merely a 3 minute walk, the big mosque is also around 5 minutes walk so I pray there most of the time because it's impossible to pray in the room due to very tight space. Amenities around the hotel were also abundant, Seven Eleven is just down stairs with endless of restaurants conveniently dwells on the same street. So, if you're the type who just needs a place to crash for the night & don't mind the absence of proper accommodation luxury, then this is the...
