This is an amazing restaurant and take on hot pot. Make sure you make reservations and try to go on slow days so is not that hectic as you get 90 minutes for your meal. I usually don’t go to time limit restaurants but decided to give it a shot and boy i was surprised. From the start the place is clean and airy. Food was plentiful and many many choices for drinks, sauces, veggies and other snacks like braised chicken wings even intestines, which is tried and liked them but is an acquired taste but dis not have the gamy taste and were fatty but not overly but is an acquired taste. We had the all you can eat waygyu A4 set for 560$HK (65$USD) but you can choose the other set for $230HKD ($35USD). Either one is fine and with the higher price you get to try boneless beef ribs sliced which is great and rotates. We had an amazing time and way too many good things to eat which we tried only a few and will go back next trip soon and eat there again. The lady in the front was amazing and super super nice and helpful and explained the menu. Also the seafood was super fresh as expected and the abalone were even alive so maybe a shock for some people to see your food alive right before cooking. Anyway try it you will not be disappointed. Also we had the black chicken soup with Chinese medicinal berries which was good as the suggest for you to drink the soup first once it boils but you do not have to of course. My apologies for few photos as i was enjoying so much i did not take many pictures. I almost forgot the meat quality is great and try different cuts you will be happy to try. Definitely this place is a great...
Read moreRecently, the weather has been getting hotter, but I still want to eat hotpot. This shop has been several different types of hotpot restaurants before (like Japanese and hk style), but this time they have turned it into a Taiwanese hotpot restaurant.
One of the specialties of Taiwanese hotpot is the soup base, and they offered ten different choices of soup base. We ordered a non spicy one, which has ginseng and chicken. Adding an extra soup base costs an additional $50. The cheapest meat dish is around $200. I chose a set meal of $259. The quality is acceptable for this price range. I found the pork is tastier than the beef. In addition, the restaurant offered many Taiwanese snacks such as fried sweet potato balls, taro balls, duck blood, fried chicken, and sausage. There is also a wide selection of drinks.
The seating is comfortable and not too crowded, but the service is just average. One male waitress was quite lazy and is not willing to add soup nor take empty dishes away, so a female waitress had to help frequently.
Overall, I think the price is acceptable. The restaurant also played music from my favorite tw artists like Mayday and Jay Chou.

Read moreI’m not the biggest fan of hotpot but I ended up dining here twice during my 5 day visit to HK.
We got the sukiyaki broth both times. It initially comes with a unique display of meats which were all delicious. I didn’t need to use any sauce for my meats because the sukiyaki was plenty flavorful. We added quite a bit of water to dilute the sweetness and added daikon. Delicious! Our favorite cut was included, it was the A5 waygu. The mushroom porkball was also a standout it’s for me. At about $50USD per person I thought it was super worth it because of the high quality meats and the variety of veggies/ add ons, carbs, drinks, and dessert bar! My favorite dessert combo was the purple rice, bit of sago +...
