During my recent stay in Cartagena, Hotel Gallery Cartagena exceeded my expectations. From the moment we arrived until our departure, we were captivated by the charm of the walled city and the exceptional hospitality of the hotel's staff. The staff's warm smiles and genuine friendliness instantly made us feel welcome, and they went above and beyond to provide helpful recommendations for local attractions and dining options.
One of the standout features of Hotel Gallery Cartagena is its prime location next to the Historic Clock Tower. This made it incredibly convenient for us to explore the vibrant streets of Cartagena, as major attractions, shops, and restaurants were all within walking distance. Being in such a central location also allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the lively and energetic nightlife that Cartagena offers, which comes alive well into the late hours.
Despite being a smaller hotel with only 10 units, Hotel Gallery Cartagena manages to offer a comfortable experience with basic amenities. We were fortunate to stay in one of the three balcony units, and we were delighted with the simple decor. The addition of smart TVs in the rooms was a nice touch, providing us with an additional way to unwind after a day of exploration. The staff was always available and eager to assist us, making us feel at home throughout our stay. We also appreciated the availability of fresh coffee and a variety of tea options provided throughout the day.
Our room and the common areas were well-maintained. The housekeeping staff's attention to detail was commendable, creating a comfortable and inviting environment for guests.
Our time at Hotel Gallery Cartagena was truly unforgettable. We highly recommend taking the opportunity to stay at this remarkable hotel and create beautiful memories in the heart of this vibrant city. Whether you're seeking cultural experiences, culinary delights, or simply a delightful ambiance, Hotel Gallery Cartagena delivers...
Read moreWas doing a 2 week project here in Cartagena and liked the very central location. Had a medium(ish) size room on the back that avoided street noise. Nothing fancy, but got into a nice routine after a few days and got to know the staff. Few things to know if you stay.||There is a small room safe, very handy. They have free coffee brewing (also kettle with tea) in the hallway from about 6 AM. Small desk in the room, but no chair, I needed to work on my computer a lot, so after a couple days asking, they found me a chair. Note to management, you really need to have a few desk chairs for some rooms. Also, no hot water the first morning, again, had to mention a couple times, then they flipped on a circuit breaker and I had scalding hot water in the shower. Restaurant around the corner serves their breakfast, a bit uninspired first few days, they did not volunteer anything except that I could have coffee or juice, but not both included. But, after a few days, I think I found the best solution. Drink the free coffee at the hotel, go to restaurant to get juice, toast and marmalade and an awesome fresh fruit salad every morning with a bit of yoghurt and granola on top, all included in my hotel room. The restaurant had eggs and pancakes and some other stuff, but after a few days, I was just craving the...

Requested funds back and went to another hotel. No hot water as well. I would not recommend this hotel. Very fraudulent business practices. Management very professional. Rooms were outdated and small. Didn't feel safe in the hotel. Highly recommend to not stay here. This hotel needs to be removed off of...
