This is a small town hotel but has the basic amenities. It is not a luxurious 5 star in a big city, so if you are expecting large suites with living areas and air conditioned rooms please find yourself another facility. The staff is extremely friendly and they will assist with anything you need. The location is very central within few blocks from Calle Real and the main plaza where you can find transportation to nearby places and tours. The hotel has a restaurant on the terrace and they have a diverse menu, for breakfast they offer cereal or oats, eggs, pancakes, fresh fruit, natural juices and much more. Salento is very safe and you can explore by foot. The hotel offers free wifi so search restaurants near me and you will find all kinds, some might close early during the week (8pm). The hotel has a great quiet policy and you cannot hear a peep at night so you get the best...

Pros: the room was clean, the hotel is centrally located, walking distance to all the shops/restaurants, I ordered an airport pick up, the driver was on time and professional. Negative: the room was very basic and it’s over-priced for such basic room. The breakfast was below average, the room window opens to inside hallways as a result the room was so dark. The front desk staff didn’t not speak even basic English, it was very confusing to communicate with them. I don’t recommend...

The staff's English is actually poor, but we knew how to help ourselves with a translator. Anyone complaining here that people don't speak English should perhaps have thought about whether it's not the tourists' responsibility to know the local language. So it wasn't bad at all. I would...
