What a wonderful experience. First, we traveled to the valley of Cocora. our guide, Took the necessary time to talk to us about the local area and the history of the valley. He was extremely knowledgeable on birds, landscape, the very tall wax palms, and we prayed to see a condor. Recommend having comfortable shoes with grip if you plan to walk up the sides of the very steep hills. If you have hiking shoes I recommend bringing those for this portion of the tour. we drove through Salento.
