Hostal la pijaraña — Local services in Quindío

The people that run the hostel are genuinely nice people, always helpful and very friendly.

But unfortunately I can't recommend to stay at La Pijaraña.

The chalets are a nice idea but it was executed poorly.

There is not a single option to hang up clothes or even the towel - In a place that has a lot of rain that's very inconvenient.

The shower was awful, it was impossible to set the temperature to a certain level it was going up and down frequently and the shower jet was just a dripping something.

If you enjoy hairs of your predecessor in the shower that's your place.

The shower curtain was to short which meant that the entire bathroom was under water after the shower. The bathroom sometimes had a bad sewage smell too.

The chalets don't have any isolation, inside temperature is like outside temperature and they only provide a thin blanket. Without my own sleeping bag I would not be alive by now.

Wifi does not work in the room.

The red floor paint detaches easily, can't be very healthy.

Overall there was a lot of open dirt in the chalet.

The big gaps between the floor boards pose a big risk of dropping small items into nowhere.

There is a small dresser in the room, but if you open a drawer it has the most horrible mouldy wood smell you can imagine.

Mattress was okay, pillows were just polyester and uncomfortable.

Chalets have a small terrace but it's missing some seating option like the 10cents Chinese plastic chairs.

While there is only little roads noise, there are roosters (neighbours) and dogs that keep you up at night.

There is a pitbull dog, but it only wants to play with you.

I rarely give negative feedbacks but I use feedbacks myself a lot for decision making and the chalets certainly don't deserve the good rating they...

Je crois que cet Hostel a du potentiel, mais a besoin de beaucoup d'amélioration et d'amour ! Les portes n'ont même pas réel poignées ou barrures (si on regarde, on peut te voir quand tu prends ta douche par exemple). Les couvertures ne sont selon moi pas assez chaudes pour le froid de la nuit de Salento. Il pourrait avoir des rallonges électriques dans les dortoirs comme il n'y a pas tant de prises de courant, il pourrait un 2e miroir, des crochets pour les serviettes, etc Mais, heureusement, il y a des douches chaudes avec une bonne pression d'eau! Il n'y a pas d'ambiance et personne à la réception pour aider et donner des recommendations. Il est même un peu difficile de discerner qui est la staff... Le matin de mon départ, une nouvelle femme employée est arrivée avec son adorable chien. Elle était très aimable avec une belle énergie, j'aurai aimé qu'elle soit là...

Si hubiera visto antes las cabañas privadas no hubiera pagado ese precio tan alto, entiendo lo rustico pero para el precio no puedo NO quejarme, las hicieron sin planear para que pudieran alojar más número de turistas pero sin pensar en la comodidad y diseño, no tienen luz natual, las paredes tiene agujeros y entonces el objetivo de rentar cabaña privada no se cumple, me raspe con las paredes porque no tienen acabados y tienen clavos y tornillos, incluso un huesped que tenia su reserva como yo en internet , al llegar y mirar canceló. Las chicas que estan en recepción son muy amables pero les falta capacitación pues no saben usar las app de reservas y entonces no pueden solicionar problemas y tienen que llamar a la dueña que tampoco jamás hablo directamente conmigo. No es culpa de ellas, hacen lo que pueden, es la dueña del lugar...
