Hostal Familiar Jerico — Hotel in Quindío

We have had the most wonderful stay at Hostal Familiar Jerico, Martha and her husband have been amazing hosts. When we arrived unfortunately my wife fell ill with a poorly stomach, Martha really went out of her way to help in any way possible, she offered to get us a doctor and also went out to get medicine for us, she really truly cared for my wife's wellbeing which was lovely. We extended our stay for another 3 days so we could make the most of Salento. In terms of the room, it was really comfortable with especially comfortable beds, also the shower is warm with great pressure, what more would anyone need? Martha also puts on a simple breakfast with homemade bread, fruit and hot drinks which are delicious and highly appreciated. If you are in Salento I would highly recommend staying here, amazing value for the price and the warmth of the family...

This is by far the best place we stayed in during our trip to Colombia, and possibly one of the best places we have ever been to.

The lovely couple who runs Jerico are born to do this. They are the perfect example of a perfect host. Since we walked in we have been treated like friends or family. Marta, the owner, sat down with us to gave us a list of places to eat, where to go, what to do, etc. - drawing a map of the city as she spoke to show us where everything was! She also gave us detailed information on the Cocora trek, which we did and enjoyed, and managed not to get lost exactly because of the other map she drew for us!

Español||Atencion imbecil en la casa que no sabe como si comporta enfrente de hospedajes! ||||tuvimos una reservacion para 4 noches y en la segunda noche EL DUEÑO nos ha tirado afuera porque hemos lavado los dientes con u cepillo electrónico al lavabo compartido. ||Entonces si quieren lavar sus dientes antes de dormir y no quieren ser tirado afuera en la noche del dueño, es mejor quedarse en otro lugar!! ||Aa. Y se enojó también porque el trillado hace ruido cuando lo pasas.||No conversación. No excuso ni nada de su parte. Su esposa tenía que hacerlo el otro día cuando nos avisó que hay otra reservación para la habitación (aunque sea ya tuvimos una reservación confirmado :)) ||igualmente. Cuidado!! Keine Entschuldigung für sein ausfallendes Verhalten. Nichts. Das durfte dann seine Frau am nächsten Tag übernehmen. ||Dieser Mann sollte entweder keine Gäste mehr empfangen, die Dielenböden tauschen oder das Waschbecken ins Bad einbauen. Zähneputzen sollte in einer Unterkunft wohl drin sein!!! ||..
