Mi Casa Su Casa is a small boarding house that is kept very clean by the owner Sergio. It is a short walk outside of town, Santa Elena, and close by to the main attractions. Sergio was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.||We enjoyed our stay but there were many things that could and probably should be better. |There is no signage so it's rather tricky to find.|It is very very noisy. The metal roof exaggerates the rain and wind. There is a soccer field outside with games played every night until midnight with the resultant screams of excitement.|There are two lovely little dogs at the property unfortunately they yap and bark constantly.|There is no hot water in the bathroom wash basin, only cold. The shower is fine though.|The room has no air-conditioning nor heating. On top of being pretty close to Santa Elena's main supermarkets and stores, this house will enchant you with the howling sounds of the wind day and night...that is one of those magic things I love the most when I come to Monteverde.
If this is not enough, you will definetly fall in love with the charming personality, at the best Monteverde style of our host Kevin. He greeted us with a big smile, showed us around and guided us step by step towards the house and town utilities and amenities.
Monteverde is a great place to walk around and enjoy with the family. So, if you are hesitating about visiting this beautiful town because of hotel prices..Casa Monte Isabel is the perfect place to stay.
