Moon Forest Apartments — Hotel in Monteverde

A beautiful house/apartment nestled in the forest on a hill so you have beautiful views of the trees and it feels like you are in the canopy. Lots of windows to appreciate the surroundings. A great outdoor patio to enjoy the views and the trees. |The place is very cool and has a modern feel but lots of great wood finishes and touches. The kitchen was pretty well equipped but we didn’t eat much at home except for breakfast. Very spacious with two bedrooms with queen size beds and even a fold out couch that we didn’t use. |Loved enjoying the sunset while taking a shower. |Great location a bit away from the Santa Elena bustle closer to some of the main hiking areas. About 5-10 minutes from everything. |The family who runs the place is also part of a local coffee farm cooperative and the tour and tasting was really surprising and interesting. I am a picky backpacker but this place had it all starting with brand new and max comfort mattreses, spot clean areas, relaxing minimalist decoration, hot water, peaceful view, quietness, plenty of kitchen supplies, safety and awesome hosts. The price is very cheap for what you get. I am considering coming back to Monteverde and renting this place for a long period because I felt like I was home . you do need a car or a taxi to get here from downtown and I believe there was ni sign to the property which was confusing, but google maps will take you to...
