Mimoza B&B Apartments Pula — Hotel in Grad Pula

😊: I loved this place. Jelena, the host/owner is so joyful and helpful. She served me juice the moment I arrived :) She was very respectful of my privacy in the room and yet was always available to help immediately via text message or if I came to see her next door. She prepared a fantastic breakfast each mornings of eggs, ham, tomatoes, avocado, toast, juice, cereal and even a cappuccino and a few slices of cake! The apartment was extremely clean, all the appliances and furniture felt brand new or highly maintained, the a/c was powerful and you could even log into Netflix etc on the TV. The washing machine was a godsend because of the August heat and the need to continually freshen up clothing. There was a decent small supermarket 150 paces away and the main bus station and other bus stops within a 10 minute walk. Pula's famous Arena is also close by. And the harbour if you want to sail out to see the islands and dolphins. Overall 10/10 - would DEFINITELY stay again. Well done Jelena!!!. 😢: Hard to fault at all. But if I was being nitpicky, I would say that adding blackout curtains to the sitting room window and bedroom window would not only cut out the light from the street lights but also help reduce the daytime solar heating effect (thus reducing the need to run the a/c continually), and perhaps some stronger anti-mosquito plug-in devices (or burning incense) within the rooms and outdoor patio area would improve the usability of those areas in early mornings and late evenings when the...

😊: The host was extremely lovely, the breakfast every morning was excellent with lots of fresh produce. The shower was really great, location was good and very convenient to have a supermarket very near. Aircon was great, and the shutters blocked out all light and sound from outside, even with a bar next door.. 😢: The interior walls were really thin and we were woken up by people in the hallway and could hear the room next door from 12am-1am when they’d obviously come in from their night out, which wasn’t great. The bed was also super hard and it needs another pillow really. WiFi wasn’t the best. With the excellent reviews I did expect everything to be a little better than it was, as I say I couldn’t fault the host but didn’t love the room so for that reason we probably wouldn’t...
