We stayed here for 5 nights in the room with the hot tub, I booked the trip as part of my partners 30th birthday present and it didn't disappoint. When we arrived we were offered a map of split and had a few of the key places to visit pointed out, then the owner helped us upstairs with our bags (a big help for someone who doesn't pack lightly). The room and both balconies to the room were very clean and the cleaner came in daily and gave fresh indoor and outdoor towels and tidied the room without disturbing any of our items too much. The room also has electric blackout blinds on all windows which helps for a relaxing sleep. The breakfast was delicious and considering it is a small hotel there was a lot of choice (fresh fruit, pastries, breads, cold meats/ cheese, cooked breakfast, yoghurt, cereals as well as fruit juice and tea/ coffee). Some of the excursions from Split leave quite early and we asked if we could have some breakfast an hour earlier on one of the days, this was accommodated with almost the full selection which we were very grateful for. We ended every evening in the hot tub and that was so relaxing especially after a long day walking around. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again all of the staff were so friendly and approachable, we wish we had booked for longer and will definitely recommend to anyone we know who is...
Read moreWe got very lost leaving the airport as google maps on my phone would not work. A local couple phoned the hotel for us and one of the staff came to meet us and guide us in using his car. We were so amazed and grateful. Room was large and very clean and a good sized bathroom. Adequate open plan hanging space and shelving but no drawers. Very good breakfast choice of bacon, eggs, sausages, fresh fruit, ham and cheese, variety of pastries, breads and jams, fruit juice and yoghurt and we were told we could help ourself to rolls and fruit for later in the day. It was close to Diocletian palace 10-15 minutes walking and near the main road out of central Split. Free parking in the hotel grounds and off a side street so quiet. Bed comfortable and fast Wi-fi (faster than at home). It is close to restaurant Babylon which was a good land mark for finding it but would not highly recommend the restaurant, which is...
Read moreStayed here for 3 nights with my mum as I waited on an emergency passport (lost original) from the British consulate in Split, and had a lovely stay, the residence is about a 15 min walk from the centre and harbour, we got a taxi from there as for some unknown reason my google map wouldn’t work, it cost about 140 kuna, on arrival we were met by the lovely lady who I am presuming owns it she very kindly offered us a welcoming drink which was sherry what a nice touch. We stayed in room 4 which had a balcony, aircon, fridge, was spotless, modern and very tastefully decorated, fabulous bathroom and power shower with toiletries, breakfast is continental with additional hot eggs, bacon, sausage, everything in freshly prepared and choice is good, all in all we had a lovely stay, Much better than a hotel the staff are so welcoming and hospitable it was a pleasure...
