We stayed here for 4 nights in May. The quiet location is perfect - just 5 minutes walk from the centre of the old town - much better than staying in the busy, bustling centre. Our room was big and functionally furnished - everything was bright and spotlessly clean including the shower room. The breakfast was ample and the staff were very polite and helpful . Just two things worth preparing for in advance - you can only pay cash , not card, and they only provide hand towels (as many as you wanted but a bit odd). Room no.6 and en suite shower room were very clean and furnished to a high standard. Although we booked and paid for a double room this is three bedded room. Breakfast was very good. ||Perfect location - not in the center with limited and paid for parking - but just 5 minutes walk away with free secure parking in own private car park. Free Wi-Fi.. 0ur room on the upper floor had sloping ceiling in places but only in the bathroom you need to take care. ||There is even a private pub just for guests which serves local Eggenberg draft beer and snacks in...

A beautiful place to stay, child friendly is the first thing that comes to mind. The rooms are spotless and spacious. 5 min walking distance from the centre and there is a supermarket down the lane itself. The kids had a nice time even playing in the garden outside of the room .
