From the beginning, things started off on the wrong foot. The hotel provides a phone number for reception, but every time I called, I had to try at least four times before anyone picked up
Before my arrival, I emailed asking for an iron in the room (as this is a self check-in hotel). When I arrived, there was no iron. I called 111, finally got through after multiple attempts, and explained my request. The lady on the phone initially refused, saying housekeeping wasn’t available although it was 3 PM. I insisted, and she rudely interrupted me, saying, “Okay, you’ll get it one.” Five minutes later, someone showed up with the iron — and during that time, I saw two staff members with cleaning carts in the hallway. So either I was lied to or misinformed — not a great start
Later, I asked for slippers. Again, I had to call five times before reaching someone. This time, the call was handed over to a male staff member who was dismissive and unkind. He asked why I hadn’t requested them earlier. I responded that slippers are usually a basic amenity and I didn’t know you don’t have one in the room, and five minutes later, one was delivered
The following morning, I went down for breakfast at 7:30 AM, only to find the dining area closed. I returned to my room and called reception on 111, but there was no answer. After trying again, a staff member finally picked up. I explained that the breakfast area was closed, and she informed me that service should start at 7 AM. As a solution, she suggested I visit a nearby hotel in the same chain to have breakfast there. Just horrible
🚫 Missing Essentials The room was extremely bare: No bottled water No coffee capsules or refill no tissue papers (only toilet papers) Very limited storage — basically just a bed and towel rack Pillow was overly large and uncomfortable
✅ The Positives Perfect location: ideal for exploring Prague on foot Furniture looks new and the space is clean Mattress was comfortable
Final Thoughts: I love Prague and have stayed in many places here, but this level of service was unexpected and disappointing. If you're looking for convenience and don't mind doing battle to get even basic needs met, maybe this place works. But personally, I’d look...
Read moreOkay, usually I go "Good, Bad, Ugly" in these reviews but for this one I can seriously only go "Bad" because this place is a genuine communications disaster that I would not ever want anyone to stay in. ||The story: we reserved 2 rooms trough the blue booking site for 5 people and a dog. As soon as we booked we sent a message through the app telling them we would arrive with 2 cars and a dog and if there would be any extra fee (as it only stated in the app a fee could apply)....nothing...so we sent an email.. nothing again...plenty of reminders though to pay or they would cancel the reservation ||I paid and hoping all would be okay we set off. On the day we would arrive we received a message giving us our self check in code and the notice that parking was actually at a nearby hotel in the same hotel chain in Prague...okay, not brilliant but fair enough so we drove to this hotel (about 7 minutes walk away but as I have an issue with both knee and ankle, not ideal) when we got there we drove to the gate and the attendant let us in. We parked the cars and went to the check in desk to pay the car fee (€20 per car) only to be told "oh no, you dont pay that here, you need to go to yet another hotel in the EA chain to pay there (a 3rd hotel). By this time i was genuinely cheesed off so with my bad knee and ankle I trudged to EA hotel #3 and paid for the cars and the dog (another €20) to then go back to EA hotel #2 to get our bags to then march to the actual EA hotel I booked. Now if I book a hotel with parking i dont expect to get a free "Find every EA hotel in the city " activity so for me 1 star. If youre not driving and backpacking it in it might suit your need but for me, someone that has spent quite a few nights in Prague Hotel rooms on buisiness and someone that absolitely hates the cobble stone streets it just added another reason to not want to go back...and to never book with EA again. Bad communication, Bad service, Bad set up and Bad value for...
Read moreI've stayed in this accommodation for 7 nights and I expected more. Below is my personal experience.||What I did not liked at all.|1. The designation hotel is misleading. Why? Because it has not at all reception. Communication, check in and check out is only via phone or booing messages which is not the most tourist friendly way. This should be renamed as ' City Centre Rooms'.|2. As a proactive person and traveler I communicated with accommodation via booking to request about check in processes. Not only check in process is stressful as Passcode to accommodation is delivered the day if your arrival, the AC of my room was not working. A good hotel manager should check all room's facilities prior traveler's arrival, something did not happen in my case or ... I've been given deliberately the ' faulty room.|3. The street at night is bit scary as adjacent shops are either closed or not busy and most of the shops are empty/no business. Around midnight when I returned to my room I found that a group of guys was eating/drinking right in front of the accommodation's entrance. ||What I liked:|1. Accommodation is brand new and clean.|2. Accommodation is central and well connected with trams.||What could be improved:|1. Bed covers are not king or queen size as the bed which does not provide comfort|2. There is no hook to hang towel in the shower.|3. There is espresso machine and capsules but no water.....|4.Pillows are just not hard enough to feel that is a pillow.||I reported that AC was not working and instead of calling me they communicated via booking to change room. I travelled more than 11 hours I changed two airports and I had no energy to pack again and change room and definetely not willing to loose a day from my Prague exploration.||Overall, for 100 euro/night the service and experience was amateurish. |I would not...
