Grand Terrace — Hotel in Prague

Would give it 1 star but we liked the location and it was fairly clean. So SAD! -- It does not look like the pictures posted with the lovely set up! (For example? Lovely matching yellow towels? No, try old ratty mismatched towels (and only 4) in a basket that look like they were used for cleaning?! It may have have been really nice when it was first rented, but either the owner/rental co. doesn't know, or doesn't care! We were extremely disappointed to walk in and find it in it's present condition. It has seen TOO many rowdy parties and has never been fixed back to the beautiful standard in the photos. It's in a great location and could be lovely again but first it needs: all the broken furniture replaced inside and on the deck, deep cleaning inside (wood floor repaired sanded, stained and resealed),the deck had mostly broken furniture and other broken pieces just piled and blown around, minor repairs to windows and doors, there were ants in the bathroom, and the digusting, mold filled pond in the washing mashine makes the bathroom stink and needs to be thrown out. Increadibly disappointed! We booked it in advance and as coming from far away by car we had to ask if someone will be there to meet us after midnight. After exchanging numerous text messages with two different numbers, we were instructed to contact them with exact arrival time at 23:30. So we did and no one replied. As we arrived at 00:30 there was no one to meet us and both numbers were switched off. After 20 hours of non stop driving and border issues we were left with nowhere to sleep after midnight in Prague.. It took us exactly 2 more hours to find an available hotel room in the area as everything was overbooked. I don’t think I need to explain how I felt about this further, I’ll just add that I’m pregnant and this was the worst experience someone in my place could have had. Shame on you, Grand...

Top locatie! Desalniettemin is het appartement nodig toe aan onderhoud. De terrasdeuren sluiten niet, de handdouche lekt, handoekophangsysteem kapot, toilletbril los en slechte kwaliteit bedden. Daarnaast is er geen koffiezetapparaat aanwezig en krijg je een keer schone handoeken. De sleuteloverhandiging verliep wel soepel en goede beheersing van de engelse taal .
