Very weird experience- because it was unprofessional it felt a bit like scam. A sailor close to the bridge saw us looking at the boat trip board information and approached us and explained us about the trip. He then guided us inside to the ticket place where we were paid for our tickets. We paid got the ticket receipt and then proceeded to the dock (steep large staircase downwards). So far it was okay. But when we reached the dock the other lady who checks the tickets told us the receipt we have is not the ticket itself so we had to go back upstairs (the steep staircase) to ask for our actual ticket. We go back to the sales booth where the lady that gave us the receipt said she is not responsible for the ticket only for the money collection and that the sailor that approached us should have given us the big ticket. I said to her my exact thoughts about ‘how were we supposed to know that the receipt is not the ticket and that she saw him and talked to him when he brought is inside and asked for the 2 tickets’. Long story short after I strongly insisted multiple times that this is their responsibility, and after her saying stuff like ‘oh this happens all the time’ (as if we got scammed) and ‘you have to go out and track that person and get for your ticket yourself’ she then remembered the sailor who sold our tickets and called him in to gives us the ticket. It of course could have been an honest mistake that he forgot to give it to us, but the lady’s reaction made us feel like we were scammed and wasn’t reassuring to resolve the issue. Only after she saw that I wasn’t backing down she remembered who the sailor was. Other than that the trip itself was okay but definitely overpriced considering its only circling near the bridges and does not go much...

edited please read to end Horrible treatment from the staff here. We booked tickets online and were excited to take our parents on this lovely boat tour only to be greeted by very very rude staff. We asked if our ticket would be okay to use on the next boat and she abruptly said "we won't save you seats" which we didn't ask for at all. We tried over and over for clarification but was met with attitude, sighs, rolling eyes and angry faces for asking a very simple question. Which should have been a basic yes as we found out we could catch any boat at any time later. When we asked to inquire about a refund after the horrible attitude from a staff member we spoke very politely if we could speak to a different staff member, said member then walked back and laughed at us so rudely. Such strange behaviour from a company that relies on customers and is supposed to provide a nice cruise down the river.. One of the staff working outside came in to check and expressed that this is a common occurance with 3 of their staff member who are often being highlighted as rude to people on the tour. What a pity because we spent a great deal on this tour and couldn't even step onto the boat before we were made to feel unwanted and degraded. I would give no stars if I could, so disappointing.

following this experience we went back and met with the manager who was an absolutely sincere and lovely man. He was deeply apologetic and we received a full refund. Looks like a few staff are really genuine here a shame that a select few can ruin a companies reputation by their own actions. I hope they receive the appropriate training to be as lovely as the...

Really bad experience! Someone talked to us in the street to go for this trip. He was very nice and very welcoming but then when we arrived to the boat, we needed to go back to the museum to pay. We were 4. I told the person who was there if my pregnant wife and our friends could sit while I go pay instead of staying in the cold. When I came back everybody was in the boat except our group. I told the person there (a woman with glasses working Sunday, the 30th of January 2022 at 1.30pm that it wasn't cool to have left everybody outside considering the situation. She yelled at us that "Why? The other guy is not my boss and my boss is told me to leave everybody outside until everybody pays." She could have said the same thing nicely. And then as soon as we started going to the boat she insulted us in Czech to her colleague. I had half a beer, when we asked her about the gingerbread, she said "It's not for you" saying that it's a special ticket (but it was on our tickets).

Moreover, she did not check our COVID certificate at any time. She was too busy staying on her phone and laughing at us with her colleagues.

After this awful start, the tour was a small square around and below the Charles Bridge. Do not expect a real cruise on the river. The captain did his job.

Anyways, we come here to enjoy a city and the welcome (at least being treated as a normal human being) is important. And the people make the difference. But this time was a very bad. Never will come back again and will...

Prague, aww Prague. Venice Boat Trip is unique, short (on waves) and overall interesting experience. As much we would recommend this particular boat trip provider, there a few key points we were unhappy with. Apart of environmental circumstances as beautiful weather and above 30 degrees heat, obvious torment starts with poorly organised queueing system. Naturally overcrowded two parts waiting area, from the external space into the cooler, steep old wooden stairs to the docking area. Stairs are beautiful and not safe that's for sure. Occupied by around 30 people trying to squeeze even more, time to time, letting folks who just finished their journey to climb back. After about 30 minutes of waiting, group of tourists sneaks in front of us being allocated by the trip operators. We asked why is that happening, followed by further technical questions. My Wife was accused of being aggressive which was a clear projection of certainly lost in lack of professional crowd management and language skills Lady, who just barked at us. 😂 Beautiful boats in different age and version are randomly divided for the brave occupants of the stairs. The rest is as stated in the description. There is free beer in the price, of course! Don't expect a big holy grail filled with an elixir (different boat trip for 3 times the price pp) but any Czech beer is more than decent after all. In conclusion V. B. T. deserves its 5 stars. In different time and configuration. ❤️

Prague, often called the "Venice of the East," is a city that enchants visitors with its magical blend of history, romance, and architectural splendor. Imagine winding through charming streets and crossing picturesque bridges that span the serene Vltava River, where the reflections of medieval buildings dance upon the water's surface. In this fairytale city, the grandeur of Prague Castle, the beauty of Charles Bridge, and the intricate facades of historic townhouses come together to create a mesmerizing backdrop. As you explore the narrow alleyways and lively squares, you’ll discover hidden courtyards, quaint cafés, and vibrant markets that offer a taste of local culture and cuisine. Whether you’re drifting along the river on a tranquil boat ride or simply strolling through the city’s enchanting streets, Prague’s timeless allure promises an unforgettable experience that will leave you spellbound.
