Good hotel. It's not too far from the Old Town. You can also take the nearby metro station if you don't want to walk too much. The hotel staff greeted us well and offered a great service. They were always available if we had any questions. Although the breakfast buffet wasn't big, it offered delicious food. The rooms are just ok. They have comfortable beds and everything you need during your stay. My concern is that I found my room to be quite small and the A/C wasn't working properly (it wasn't a big issue since I opened the window for some time and the room temperature would be okay). I can't say much about sound isolation since I always have with me a white noise machine during my travels. I recommend this hotel during your stay in Prague.

An old hotel but well located. The room was spacious but quite dated. The carpet on the floor was very old. The shower was very small and had a curtain, which is not practical at all. A taller person can’t shower comfortably; the curtain keeps sticking to the body, and the whole floor ends up wet. Breakfast was quite pleasant, with some variety and also fresh products. Without a doubt, the location is the highlight of this hotel—very close to the city center, both on foot and by public transport.

For the price, I am so happy with my stay at Lunik, their rates are always very reasonable rates and super clean. The morning breakfast (7am-10am that was built into my stay) was wonderful, among the best I've had at any hotel, great fresh pastries, fresh fruits, and eggs and cooked dishes that change each day, so it's not the same things. Saved a lot of money there by starting the day with a solid meal. The location was a great launching point to anywhere in Prague, walking to old town or across the river is about 20min. Easy Uber to anywhere in about 10min, unlike staying in old town or other more busy places where Uber/taxi cannot pickup, cars easy get to Lunik. Loved walking the more quiet and safe neighborhood around Lunik after busy times elsewhere. For those with families, there's so many "American fast food all around" perhaps too many, but for families, those eateries and the many pastry shops and grocery stores (Tesco) nearby are helpful. The standing shower is very small, as is common in Europe. I'd recommend you bring your own soap and shampoo. There is not a laundry room, but laundry service can be provided for 200czk. Wifi is steady and usable but not fast, I ended using my cellphone hotspot when I needed to Zoom for work. There is a late hour money exchange place across the street on Jugoslavska 236 with the best rates, several banks nearby too. Just remember never to click conversion, since your own bank back home will always give a better rate, so keep things in Czech crowns. Airport taxi to Lunik around 800czk, Uber 600czk, though at times, hard to get a Uber from the airport, easy to get a Uber to return to the airport. I plan to always return to Hotel Lunik when visiting...

The hotel facilities are okay. Just share my experience: There were two receptionists taking turns at the front desk. I had unpleasant experience with one of them. the elder one. I asked twice about room location and arrangement, but she gave me inconsistent answers. I was confused and wanted to confirm further. I understand we get what we pay for, and I was not trying to changing rooms. I was just not satisfied with the inconsistent answers, which I did think not professional. However, the lady got impatient and accused me of wasting her time, As a tourist, I was disappointed and aggrieved by this attitude. Later I met another younger front receptionist who may be a manager, and I reported the experience to her and was reassured. When I checked out, the first receptionist apologized to me and she admitted there might be some misunderstanding between us. Her attitude was more sincere. After that, I felt much better. I booked a single room in a three-star hotel. Although the price was not high, I still expected the hotel to be relatively professional. Generally speaking, the hotel was quite good. The room was okay, the location convenient, and the breakfast good. Most of the staff were friendly. The most unpleasant experience was the front desk experience. I hope the receptionists can be more friendly and patient to foreign tourists who do not understand Czech well. Their work is very important and will directly affect the customers’ first impression of the hotel. We also want to enjoy ourselves in...
