Watch out for this restaurant! They have mirrors and paintings right behind the chairs. When our 11-year old son was getting up from his chair, the chair got stuck on the carpet, fell and broke the mirror. The owners wanted us to pay and when we refused, they called the police on us. A clear trap for families with children. A heavy chair, a carpet and a mirror. Never again! Edit: And they lie in the response to my review. They indeed offered a different room, which smelled badly, and they did not warn us about the mirrors. The children WERE NOT running around - what a cheap way to to make readers not like us. Either the cook had a day off, or they should hire one. The wine was decent though and the interior of the place certainly...

What really made the experience special, though, was the phenomenal service. Our host took such pride in sharing the story of her place, teaching us about the food, and making us feel like part of the family. You could tell this wasn’t just a restaurant to her—it was her passion.
We left with full hearts, happy stomachs, and not a single crumb left on the plate. If you’re in Prague, do yourself a favor and make this your stop....
