A Medieval Feast to Remember – U Krále in Prague We’ve now been to U Krále in Prague five times—and every single visit has been an unforgettable experience! If you're in Prague and looking for something truly special and immersive, we can’t recommend the Medieval Dinner Experience enough. The evening starts at 7 PM and runs until around 10 PM, and what awaits you is so much more than just a dinner—it's a full three-hour medieval show packed with energy, music, humor, and fantastic food. We always choose the All-Inclusive Package, which we highly recommend. It allows you to eat and drink as much as you want—bohemian-style meats, traditional starters, desserts, beer, wine, mead, soft drinks—everything is included. The food itself is authentic and hearty Czech cuisine, with a strong emphasis on meat dishes. Each table gets a generous platter of starters, a big main course platter filled with roasted meats, vegetables, and sides, and you can choose your dessert at the end. The mead (honey wine) is particularly worth trying—rich, smooth, and perfect for the medieval atmosphere. But what truly sets U Krále apart is the non-stop live entertainment throughout the evening. From live medieval music to fire dancers, belly dancers with snakes, sword-fighting knights, and minstrels, there’s always something happening. The performers are incredibly engaging and know how to get the crowd involved while keeping the vibe fun and light. The ambiance is authentic and rustic, with stone walls, candlelight, and wooden benches—you truly feel transported back in time. Whether you’re with friends, as a couple, or in a group, it’s an evening full of laughter, great food, and memorable moments. We will absolutely return again, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Prague. If you want to combine dinner with entertainment and enjoy a lively, medieval night out—this is the place to be!

We went out with my 6 friends for an evening out and reserved the all inclusive package with the live performances (1.4k CZK per person) here. I have to say I'm quite underwhelmed for the price.

First, the tavern looks quite interesting, I have to admit and the performances, although nothing special and quite short, were well paced and cool in a place like this.

But the problem I had with this place was the price vs how much food you actually got - we payed more than 10.5k CZK (with tips which the servers were demanding) and actually got two platters for 650 each as main courses, two cold cut platters as appetizers for 300 each and some desserts (all for 7 people!). The food wasn't bad, but it was really nothing special, plus half of the main course was already cold by the time it got to us. On top of that, if we didn't explicitly ask for the dessert (which was already included in the package we reserved and we're paying for), we wouldn't even get it (because apparently the servers forgot, even though they were walking around every five minutes for three hours)!

Plus when paying, the servers were acting a bit shady and asking for more than was originally agreed (felt a bit tourist trappy), which left a sour taste in my mouth.

Once was enough for me, not planning to go back again. But if you want to try it anyway, don't buy the all inclusive package and just pay for what you actually order. It's gonna end up a lot...

Fantastic Medieval Experience – Highly Recommend

I recently visited this medieval restaurant with friends, and it was an absolutely amazing night out! The atmosphere was incredible, with authentic medieval decor and a lively energy that set the stage for a truly unique experience.

The food was excellent—delicious, hearty, and perfectly fitting for the medieval theme. The all-inclusive beer offering was a great touch, ensuring everyone in our group could enjoy themselves without worrying about extra costs.

The medieval show was the highlight of the evening. With multiple themed acts, including fire performances, sword fights, dancing, and more, it was both thrilling and entertaining. The performers were highly skilled, and the effort put into the production really showed. It felt like stepping back in time to a medieval feast with plenty of excitement.

The service and staff were equally outstanding. They were attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make sure everyone had a great time. Their enthusiasm added to the overall experience and made us feel genuinely welcome.

It was a perfect evening full of fun, great food, and unique entertainment. Whether you're with friends, family, or a group, this is an experience not to be missed. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something different and exciting—a...
