Hotel Spa Bella Mar — Hotel in Santo Domingo

this hotel has change of property like a year ago. they asked me for a higher price when i told them it is to expensive they asked for a lower price. the room for 3 person i dont find it nice because you can see in the bathroom.

the workers try to give the best service. we had some issue they try to fix it immediately. the ac work fine it was always cold. wi-fi was perfect. nice television and good cable. the water was sometimes to cold or to warm. they dont clean the bathroom good. it was to dirty and somtimes the shower smells bad. i found bandage under my bed,also to dusty. they have many Haitians working there and lives in the hotels rooms. i think they must live apart from the visitors. it doesn't feel safe there!! so many weird people come as visit there. one time i feel like they are following us. some hotel workers asked me for money because "they...

Oh my God to everyone who wants to come here please run away. The sheets were dirty, the water was cold and this room has no small refrigerator or outlet to charge your phone. What’s even more disgusting is that I found bed bugs on the sheets. When I ask to have another they say they cannot. I wish there was somewhere I could go and complain about the cleanliness of this place. The towels has STAINS on them. And who doesn’t open the door for the food delivery guy!!! He got him standing outside when I told them to pick up the food. I mean it is just unprofessional and dirty in here....

Ao que parece, já foi um grande hotel. Tentaram revitalizar, mas na verdade precisa de alguns cuidados. Fica bem localizado, em frente ao Mercado Modelo (ótimo pra comprar lembrancinhas) e muito perto da zona colonial. Entretanto, a avenida onde fica o hotel é essencialmente comercial, e fica deserta após às 19h. Quanto ao hotel em si, os quartos são pequenos, o banheiro é micro, o café é razoável. Mas, no segundo dia de hospedagem descobrimos um RATO morando em nosso quarto! Nos mudaram para outro, até melhorzinho, pq tinha um frigobar (que não funcionava direito). Mas no fim das contas, apesar de algumas funcionárias muito atenciosas (como a Natacha) e outros nem um pouco, a impressão geral foi péssima e me arrependi de não ter reservado...
