So the bob w suites are lovely, and in a great area. The people who work for Bob W are amazing and I will say without them I'd probably have given the hotel an overall rating of 2.5/5. Here's why.
When I had an issue on the first night with the room, the amazing Merlyn came and spent ages with me to figure it out in a way that made me feel comfortable.
It wasn't an ideal issue, and it could have been avoided by the hotel but I felt they did try for me and I appreciated the kind gesture and Merilyn also bringing me chocolates and non alcoholic wine.
So the bonus is the service including the great WhatsApp support team who really feel like they go above and beyond for you.
The suites are well appointed with lots to enjoy including Polaroids and a SNES and in the coolest part of Tallinn without being far from the old town. It's a safe, creative area and I loved the location. Though I noted no air conditioning despite it being advertised.
The bad was there was a few cleaning issues with the suites. I could tell Merlyn was absolutely upset about this and took her job super seriously to try and amend the issue. That matters and goes a long way. Mostly the cleaning after these issues were spot on.
But the biggest issue I had by farrrr was neighbour noise. Pretty much every night I was subject to slamming doors, heavy thuds of feet and extremely loud sex noises from a neighbour apartment. I was on a top floor corner apartment and so I don't know how you can get a less noisy apartment, and yet it felt like sleep was hard to come by in these apartments through the weeknights which is not ideal for a digital nomad. This problem was down to, I'm told, the private tenants of the building across the hall. But I also heard parties in other apartments.
This is something that was frustrating and I would say if you are looking to stay someone quiet, maybe look elsewhere.
I also think check-in was not clear and they need a person to be present on site to add a friendly face. I was locked out initially and had to call three times to get access to the suites.
That being said if you can tolerate noise this is a good option as the rest of the apartment expérience is worth it and very...

Read moreI stayed at Bob W. in Tallinn for 3 months.
It was by far the best accommodation experience I have had on a business-related trip.
There were quite a few factors, that I think made the experience unique:
The studios were warm, stylish, and soon came to feel like home. The cleaning was impeccable and the service excellent. If I ever needed something, my amazing host Maire was quick to help out and make everything as seamless as possible.
It was always a pleasant experience to receive the small gifts of coffee and chocolate after the weekly cleaning.
Bob W's focus on sustainability (ranging from the energy they use being renewable, to organic chocolates, to sustainably sourced shampoo) just made it more comfortable to live in their accommodation.
With most things being automated, everything from check-in to communication was also just a seamless experience.
This is the first time that I have stayed at this concept of an Airbnb/hotel cross-over, and this will certainly be the go-to option for me, when looking for places...
