I’ve been to Judy a few times since I live nearby. The first time I went there for breakfast and tried the Pancakes. It’s quite a strange dish, and I can’t say it met my expectations. I decided not to make final conclusions and tried their coffee to go. Unfortunately, that experience wasn’t any better. The first time, the coffee tasted off, not the way good coffee should. Still, I wanted to give the cafe another chance and bought a cappuccino again, but all I could taste was milk. There was absolutely no coffee flavor. I noticed that when preparing coffee, the barista doesn’t perform the process called “tapping” — when the milk pitcher is gently tapped against the counter to eliminate large bubbles and create a smoother, creamier texture. This step is essential, especially for cappuccinos and lattes, as it significantly affects the taste and texture of the drink. It’s a shame because the cafe looks charming and cozy. Hopefully, they will improve the quality of their coffee in the future.

Very aesthetic and comfy place. Interesting selection of food and friendly staff. We were a bit underwhelmed by the food choices we had. We both had a piece of cake (lemon cake and banana bread) with a latte (matcha latte and golden latte) for 9,50 which I find rather pricy but still ok. Big plus for asking about the milk preferences. They have various. The banana bread was amazing. Truly 10/10. But the lemon cake was not at all to our liking :/ The matcha was ok but no revelation and the golden Milk tasted like water with some spices thrown into it :( I was very disappointed, maybe because I had so high expectations and was thrilled after I saw it on the menu. We would definitely go again because the vibe was nice but then order something else. Good place for a date.

My salad was so good with the crispy tofu. Glad to know it was also gluten-free. Unfortunately, the surface was not great which impacts the atmosphere. I spent almost 15 minutes, trying to get someone’s attention and finally gave up and went inside the café where I was sitting. 8 minutes past 4 PM and they said too late I couldn’t get the little side of tofu addition. Fine, but the fact that they never came and checked on me after they delivered the food, especially before the kitchen closed - It wasn’t very busy. We are towards the end of August. I was speaking French though poorly. I will give them one more try and update this review

Bad hospitality. Unwelcome. Unfriendly (if you don’t speak French or you look foreigners like me asian). The service will insist you to leave and go back if it’s their busy time even if you want to have a coffee and desserts there. I went there and asked if I can have a seat outside and they told me it’s a lunch time so if I only have coffee and desserts I should come back later. At the same time I realise few table outside, there were customers with just a drink and read, open their laptop etc. I asked them why I can not just stay here for 30-40 min with drink and desserts and these people can stay for long time since morning. However the waitress told me that they are staying from morning so they can stay there as much as they can and she told me it’s a rule. I got surprised and couldn’t understand why and then the waitress told me “whatever, it’s fine you can sit”. I felt very unwelcome but I had a table outside. Then unbelievably there is another lady came to ask if I came for lunch or not. I told her if I’m bothering or disturbing your business it’s fine I’ll leave. And then she told me the same thing as the last waitress. I can’t believe that 2 out of 4 waitresses asked me to leave if I don’t have lunch there. I ordered coffee and banana bread. I don’t see the differences between someone ordered drink and one small dish. Is it very important to kick out the customers for sake of money? Business? As a person in a food business they should really understand what hospitality is and don’t judge by one sight. Just be fair. Coffee is fine. Foods they care too much about bio, healthy stuff but tastes so-so....

I have tried this place via the ‘Too Good to Go’ app because I liked the overall menu, the place looked super nice and I wanted to try it out some day either on site or via a take away.

Well, it was ok, but not great.

First of, the items I received were not as nice as what I saw on their social media and from the order description and value I had different expectations. The order was a ‘surprise’ bag and turned out to be a small endive salad with chicken, parmesan, pecan nuts and bacon plus a coconut yoghurt with granola.

The salad was fresh but small and nothing special and I added some simple dressing at home.

On the plus side, the yoghurt was actually quite good as it was natural and not sugary, even the granola was very light, which I liked. However I think there was supposed to be some fresh fruit topping as well like it said on the online menu, but I didn’t see that anywhere.

So, maybe the actual restaurant is a lot better, but it’s not on my list of places to go see now. There are just so many other options in town that I prefer and even via the above mentioned foodie app I have had a lot of healthy meal and snacks that are...

The juice and lemonade were ok, not great, but I really need to complain about the waitress: we arrived during lunch time (1pm) and just wanted to have a quick drink. Apparently the girl didn’t want to serve us, as we told her we were only here for drinks. She said: ohh it’s lunch time and I looked at her like so what? For your information: There was another unoccupied table outside and many free tables inside. So we got ready to get up again and I was about to tell her how rude and unprofessional her reaction was, when she asked us: how long? I looked at my boyfriend and told him no let’s go. I mean what does she want to hear? If you bring us the juice in 3 minutes, we will finish ist within minute 10? Honestly if you want to meet nice French people, don’t count on the staff there. So we decided to get up, that’s when she looked around, realized the place wasn’t occupied at all and she couldn’t find any ‘better’ people to seat at our table and told us we were allowed to stay. Nice furniture and place is well decorated, but in the end the people make the difference and she made me hate this little place. Can’t...
