Bad hospitality. Unwelcome. Unfriendly (if you donât speak French or you look foreigners like me asian). The service will insist you to leave and go back if itâs their busy time even if you want to have a coffee and desserts there. I went there and asked if I can have a seat outside and they told me itâs a lunch time so if I only have coffee and desserts I should come back later. At the same time I realise few table outside, there were customers with just a drink and read, open their laptop etc. I asked them why I can not just stay here for 30-40 min with drink and desserts and these people can stay for long time since morning. However the waitress told me that they are staying from morning so they can stay there as much as they can and she told me itâs a rule. I got surprised and couldnât understand why and then the waitress told me âwhatever, itâs fine you can sitâ. I felt very unwelcome but I had a table outside. Then unbelievably there is another lady came to ask if I came for lunch or not. I told her if Iâm bothering or disturbing your business itâs fine Iâll leave. And then she told me the same thing as the last waitress. I canât believe that 2 out of 4 waitresses asked me to leave if I donât have lunch there. I ordered coffee and banana bread. I donât see the differences between someone ordered drink and one small dish. Is it very important to kick out the customers for sake of money? Business? As a person in a food business they should really understand what hospitality is and donât judge by one sight. Just be fair. Coffee is fine. Foods they care too much about bio, healthy stuff but tastes so-so....
Read moreI have tried this place via the âToo Good to Goâ app because I liked the overall menu, the place looked super nice and I wanted to try it out some day either on site or via a take away.
Well, it was ok, but not great.
First of, the items I received were not as nice as what I saw on their social media and from the order description and value I had different expectations. The order was a âsurpriseâ bag and turned out to be a small endive salad with chicken, parmesan, pecan nuts and bacon plus a coconut yoghurt with granola.
The salad was fresh but small and nothing special and I added some simple dressing at home.
On the plus side, the yoghurt was actually quite good as it was natural and not sugary, even the granola was very light, which I liked. However I think there was supposed to be some fresh fruit topping as well like it said on the online menu, but I didnât see that anywhere.
So, maybe the actual restaurant is a lot better, but itâs not on my list of places to go see now. There are just so many other options in town that I prefer and even via the above mentioned foodie app I have had a lot of healthy meal and snacks that are...
Read moreThe juice and lemonade were ok, not great, but I really need to complain about the waitress: we arrived during lunch time (1pm) and just wanted to have a quick drink. Apparently the girl didnât want to serve us, as we told her we were only here for drinks. She said: ohh itâs lunch time and I looked at her like so what? For your information: There was another unoccupied table outside and many free tables inside. So we got ready to get up again and I was about to tell her how rude and unprofessional her reaction was, when she asked us: how long? I looked at my boyfriend and told him no letâs go. I mean what does she want to hear? If you bring us the juice in 3 minutes, we will finish ist within minute 10? Honestly if you want to meet nice French people, donât count on the staff there. So we decided to get up, thatâs when she looked around, realized the place wasnât occupied at all and she couldnât find any âbetterâ people to seat at our table and told us we were allowed to stay. Nice furniture and place is well decorated, but in the end the people make the difference and she made me hate this little place. Canât...
