The worst experience I had in Paris — avoid this hotel at all costs. We found a live rat inside our room, and the hotel’s “solution” was to place a sticky trap with popcorn to catch it. No proper hygiene measures were taken. When we asked for a refund, the staff shouted at us and kicked us out, claiming that “Paris is full of rats” and that what happened was completely normal. On top of that: • There is no elevator, and we were placed on the fourth floor with heavy luggage. • There is only one shower for all guests, located on the ground floor. • None of the rooms have private bathrooms, not even on the same floor. We had to go up and down the stairs every time we needed the toilet. • When we tried to cancel via Booking, the hotel refused to speak to the company, saying they didn’t speak English — even though they had been communicating with us in English the entire time. This was a horrible, disrespectful, and unsanitary experience. The hotel shows zero concern for the health and safety of its guests. I do not recommend this place under any circumstance. I’ve attached a photo of the hotel’s “solution” for dealing with the rat so others can see for themselves.

Don't Stay! I hate to give a bad review, but this place is a special level of Absolute Sheet Hoole! No option for negative stars! Tries to take advantage price wise of location but not even the cheapest place you can find on the booking website. Not the usual lies of pics exaggerating the room size! This goes next level of taking the proverbial. All rooms are tiny, more than the photos lie, and not ensuite, which for the age and genere of the building I get, given the price I expected shared facilities. But two toilets and one shower between 20 guests?! The shower wouldn't be acceptable if you have a hip/knee injury yet alone any other specific need. Doggy stains on the walls, wallpaper peeling, rust badly painted over on the pipes. Have to rent the remote. This place needs to be refurbished or cancelled. Toilet and shower were an after thought in the 1970s and no thought since. Plastic bag on the smoke detector about the shower to not set of the smoke alarm. No where in my town of London would present a place like this. Best price should be €30 for the fresh linen, electricity and hot water. No defending this venue.

The price-quality ratio is excellent. When we were looking for a hotel in a very short time, it was the cheapest we could find, even with such a good location, especially in the 2nd arrondissement. Because housing prices in Paris are just terribly high. Not the cleanest hotel but ok. Small room overlooking a quiet street. The beds in the room were made every day, the shower was in our room, but the toilet was down the stairs. Towels and soap were provided, and a hair dryer could be borrowed from reception. Wifi was good. The owner is very friendly and nice, we came to Paris when it was raining and he gave us an umbrella every time which was very nice. When we went somewhere, we had to leave the key at the reception. Near attractions and public transport. Economical but acceptable option. #hotel #paris

The location of the hotel is good and around 20 min walk to Les Halles. The staff consisted of two men who spoke good English.||First I booked 3 nights and afterwards I had to book another night because of cancelled flight. I asked the hotel for same room if possible, and they arranged it which I appreciate. I booked a single room and it basically looked as on the picture. It was definitely not pretty but I had a place to sleep in. The room was also clean.||There was one toilet and one “bathroom”. Both were on bottom floor next to the stairs leading to the room. The room with the toilet is NOT the one on the picture on Booking and was VERY small. A “bigger” person would have hard to move, standing in front of the toilet, you could hardly turn around to get out. Also, there is no sink, instead you had to go to your room and wash your hands. The toilet-door was very thin, so you could hear everything which made it uncomfortable to use the toilet. The bathroom was also a very tiny room with a washing machine. The shower didn’t have any handle to put the shower hose on. Also the shower was not fresh. It also smelled like mold from these room.||On my way to the hotel, I by accident read that the hotel has a curfew between 0130-0630 I think. I asked if there is any possibility to change it because I had a birthday party to attend. It wasn’t possible the staff said because he had to sleep those hours at the hotel. The manager was working after him during the day. Basically, the guests were locked up inside nighttime like animals. This led to that I had to leave my friends earlier which is totally crazy. On Booking it only says about the reception being closed certain times during night which is normal. BUT it doesn’t say anywhere that you’re locked up as a animal. On the booking page there is a guest asking if there is a curfew, where the staff replies that all information is on the page, that is, avoiding to say there is. Also when I asked the same, he avoided to answer. Instead he showed some internet page connected to booking where it said there is. I have no idea where he found it or if it’s fake because I have searched and googled both in English and in French without finding it.||On the second day I decided to checkout and asked for refund for the four days. The manager gave me money back for one day only and said he doesn’t have to but he does it to be nice kind of. What he did after he didn’t tell me about. Somehow (I don’t know the booking system) he changed the booking so it looked like I only booked two days in total, while I actually booked 4 days and got refund for 1 day, that is it should show 3 days booking. ||While checking out, I saw that he had a bunch of white plastic cards, which he used to give me the refund, instead of using my private bank card. That means that he kind of have copies of the guests bank cards. I could also see numbers on it, and it matched the numbers on my card. I decided not to say anything because I just wanted to get out.||The manager was “nice” but had a very strange attitude, kind of making you feel smaller and he was better than you, while the other man was friendly. All in all, I would never ever book this horrible experience ever again, and I advise everyone to not book it. This is a place that should close immediately. It all ended with me booking another place 20 euros more per night that was one of the best experiences I had, the Turin Hotel. Please, avoid this place!||Thankfully the staff at Booking have been incredible helpful in this, which I’m very...

I recently had the displeasure of staying at the this hotel, and I must say, it was an absolute nightmare. From the moment I entered the lobby, the staff seemed completely disinterested in providing any level of customer service. The receptionist was rude and unhelpful, offering no assistance with my check-in process.

The room I was assigned to was a disaster. It had a musty smell, the bed sheets were stained, and the furniture looked worn out and shabby. The bathroom was no better, with a broken showerhead and a constant leak from the sink. The overall cleanliness of the room left much to be desired, as I found hair in the bathroom and dust on almost every surface.

To make matters worse, the noise level was unbearable. I could hear people talking and slamming doors throughout the night, making it impossible to get a decent night's sleep. The thin walls seemed to amplify every sound, turning the hotel into a cacophony of disturbance.

When I attempted to address these issues with the management, they were dismissive and unapologetic. It seemed like they couldn't care less about the problems I was experiencing. Their lack of professionalism and indifference towards their guests was truly disheartening.

I cannot stress enough how much I do not recommend the hotel. It was an utterly disappointing experience, and I urge anyone considering staying there to look elsewhere for a comfortable and...
