The most awkward and nasty thing was that: the cleaning lady used the white towels (which we use to wipe our faces or bodies) to clean the toilet. If you can't understand what I mean, here is the literal word: she used the towel to wipe the sh*ts in the toilet.
*I was there and she did this nasty thing in front of me. That means she doesn't know that it's a crime, and it's her regular routine to do that. That means all of those white towels, with which you are wiping your faces might have human stool in it. Please double check about any smell and stain. Although they clean those towels afterwards, you can never be sure how their sanitation process is.
*They will also bill you for using the telephone. So be careful about that. For a call inside of France to a mobile phone, we had to pay 15 Euro.
*The wifi connection seems like not secured. My phone, which generally works in other wifi systems, it was blocking the wifi system there. Also be careful, if you call the service for wifi, you have to pay for the phone call. *The TV had only CNN and BBC this two English channels. Otherwise there were just one more channel which was broadcasting English movies sometime. Otherwise, all channels are in French.

Read moreWe spent four amazing nights at the Hotel Rosalie. The location is very convenient to public transportation and shopping. It is close enough to the 5th arrondissement that you can walk to Mouffetard and the Pantheon but you also get the sense that you are in a neighborhood where Parisians live and work, not just a tourist zone. There are many good dining options very close to the hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful - Andy and David were especially gracious when we had to stay an extra night due to my wife's back injury. The breakfast is fresh and the coffee was outstanding. You will hear sirens at night as there is a hospital close by but it did not bother us. They are doing everything right at the Rosalie! The best thing about this hotel is the staff. It felt like home. We will certainly stay here again next time we come to Paris. We researched many hotels all over Paris before deciding to stay here. It did not disappoint. Spending a day close to the hotel exploring the 13th was very fulfilling and the Rosalie is a perfect home base for a...
Read moreHotel Rosalie was phenomenal! My boyfriend and I booked this hotel for our stay in Paris during my birthday AND the 2024 Olympics! From the moment we walked in, Andy, the manager was extremely accommodating and compassionate towards us. His impact as a manager had a trickle down effect on his staff because each and every staff person (from the front desk to the breakfast cafe) went over and beyond to accommodate and support us in every way possible. I even received a mini French lesson from Andy and the beautiful ladies down in the cafe were just splendid! Bravo, Hotel Rosalie.||Hotel Rosalie, thank you for you hospitality, your kindness, your generosity, and for making our stay in Paris an unforgettable memory...
