FOOD & DRINKS Korean style fried chicken in Frankfurt? Count me in! At first I was a bit disappointed that they didn't offer Chicken Wings on their menu but then I saw their special Chicken Wings item written on a chalk board next to the counter. So we ordered the regular fried chicken with yangyeom sauce and the chicken wings. The one sin that you are not allowed to do is to overcook or undercook the chicken. Unfortunately the wings were a bit overcooked and therefore the meat was a tad too dry. At least they got the regular chicken spot on! Crunchy, juicy and tender chicken meat. The yangyeom sauce didn't taste like any yangyeom sauce I had in Korea or from authentic Korean restaurants in Düsseldorf but it still was yummy. The special sauce that was served with the wings was vinegary. Not bad but not what I hoped for.
SERVICE I am sorry to say this but service looked quite unprofessional. The guy at the counter is a really nice dude but everything looked so unorganized and chaotic. That said service was fast and friendly.
ATMOSPHERE Place is small but looks fun, young and fresh. I love it.
RATING They could have gotten the full rating with ease but overcooked chicken wings are just a super hard no go. The only reason I give them four stars is because the other chicken was really good. I personally just wouldn't pick the yangyeom...

Chicken Normally Korean style chicken make seasoned fryer, which generally comes with salt, peppers and something special hause made. However, here is mostly SALT. I am not sure if it fits to German taste, but for me it is too salty. It is salty enough even without the skin and fryer. This is very disappointed me.
Souces There are several souces which you could choose with some extra cost. I believe the source should be seasoned in the pan, but squeezed top of the chicken. It is the reason source is not being together with chicken fryer. Maybe it could be the reason to reduce the cooking time.
Paper on the tray They put the paper on the tray, like any other fast food restaurants. This might good strategy because it makes significantly reduce washing greasy dishs. However the paper is thin and easy to tear off. I wonder how often they wash the trays.
Drinks There are good some different kinds of Lemonade. Also serving craft beer, which is good.
Please don't even think it is Korean style fried chicken, which getting popular during the last winter Olympic. Not even close it. Maybe my expectations were way much higher for the price...
Read moreOne star is very harsh for a restaurant that appears to care about quality and flavour with a unique taste. The price is slightly higher than average but about right for the portions, the staff are nice friendly and courteous. However, even though the chicken tenders were nice, the fried chicken was slightly undercooked with a touch of blood left borderline cooked. The chicken in the chicken sandwich smelled like the chicken had gone bad. I thought it might be just my imagination but looking into the kitchen, I could see the cook had a large box of uncooked chicken out on the counter which was not returned to the fridge when they had no need for it. There was also a rack of uncooked chicken that had been floured just sitting out in the open air waiting for orders. There was no obvious quality control or health and safety being followed and given that there were children and a pregnant lady also eating there, I could not in any way recommend anybody eat there. Such unhygienic practices are guaranteed to cause food poisoning and unless they change their way of preparing food, I suggest you avoid the place.
