• TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE Please don’t visit, we changed rooms THREE times but still disappointed and disgusted* This place having a 4.5 star review is such a lie. 1 star is too much. (note how their response does not talk about the dry blood and boasts about cleanliness, words are meaningless when theres proof0

FACILITIES ❌ They advertise sauna, gym and spa on the website, but are all still under renovation… this is not mentioned on their website, nor did they tell us until we asked the staff. I only learnt this because there’s a small sign next to the door, quite hidden, that mentions this. ❌ AC in first two rooms didn’t even blow out cold wind across the room to the bed. Need I emphasise it was a HOT day up to 40 degrees? ❌Showers have a half glass panel which doesn’t keep most water out. The floor becomes so wet after a shower, safety hazard!! And some bathrooms have more limescale build up than others… ❌After being in 3 rooms, I can see that their rooms are not standardised, only one room offered slippers, some closets smelt funky, some rooms are much hotter ❌noise insulation is not great, you can hear every movement from upstairs and every door slam on your floor ✅I will say the silver lining was the rooftop area, while dirty it is still more pleasant than the rooms. But you got to scavenge for a clean chair and the Athens air doesn’t feel very clean…

CLEANLINESS ❌Found dried blood on bed sheets and bed frame, so disgusting, are the rooms even cleaned properly? ❌Both of us found roaches on pillows and woke up in terror at 4am. (Other reviews have mentioned similar experiences so I know we didn’t bring them here. The staff also lied saying they’ve never had this before and it’s out of their control but there’s a review from 4 days before we got there that had the same experiences) ❌Found same bug in the second room, which further demonstrates it’s not the first occurrence in their establishment ❌Changed rooms one last time, the manager kindly checked to make sure “no surprises” and yet within two minutes we found a shard of glass on the floor big enough to cause harm if stepped on bare foot, that’s when we accepted defeat. ❌Overall there is also a certain musty dusty feeling in the air and in the closets

LOCATION ❌There is also no nice food around, and food delivery is extremely slow, like 1.5 hour on average. ❌many reviews say the location is unsafe at night. You really have to see it to believe it. Gang graffiti everywhere, even in the mornings it feels unsafe. We didn’t even go out after sunset and it felt so uncomfortable. Would go as far to say it felt like a slum.

Overall: The staff were somewhat professional with handling the complaints (shout out to Chris for giving us a new room at 4am you’re a star, and for recommending food place near acropolis, your talents are wasted at this place), it’s just the rooms are not up to standard so respectfully none of their attempts to rectify the situation were feasible, we ultimately left after 2 nights instead of 4.

They did refund us, but only after we insisted on it. And it was only the 2 nights we didn’t stay despite the awful conditions they provided us with. (You would think finding dried blood in multiple areas on the bed would be a good enough reason, but no!!!) Would have stayed only the first night if there was a flight available earlier… save your money and time, and protect your mental wellbeing, choose somewhere...

Disappointing. Their website was promising so we booked it despite some negative reviews. However, they advertise facilities such as sauna and gym online BUT were “under renovation”. Only one room had slippers, and only one room’s aircon was acceptable. - There is also no nice food around, and food delivery takes an hour if not more with so many delays all the time (maybe it’s the heat who knows) - many reviews mention unsafe environment, and you really have to see it to believe it, felt unsafe even though we never went out after sunset. I will say the silver lining was the rooftop area, while a little dirty it is still quite pleasant at sunset.
