Loved our stay. This was our second stay in Athens in our month long trip, staying 3 nights.

Location: We loved the location, it is easy access to great food options hidden in Psiri region and shopping. We stayed previously on the other side of Plaka, and found this location to still be more accessible.

Reception/staff: Were beyond amazing to us. We were always greeted with great big smiles and were offered help at all times. They truest are amazing.

Breakfast: Officially the best we were served out of 8 places! Warning, they serve a lot. My only tip to either future clients or hotel, would be to have food storage options available. The food was so good, to think left overs go to waste would be the only downfall. It could easily serve as a morning snack too. My other tip might be to go exploring in the early am, before the July heat kicks in and have 1030am breakfast/brunch. You will not need lunch. Most tourist spots open at 8am, we were able to go exploring each morning and then come for food.

Roof views: AMAZING! I didn’t think anything could beat our first stay, and although a very different view, it was spectacular! We spent 2 nights lounging up on the balcony with a bottle of wine and a complementary platter (cheese and fruit). The layout allows some sense of privacy, which is hard to achieve on open roof tops.

Pool: Just because I have read reviews saying it isn’t what they expected. The pool is as big as it is in pictures. It is a small plunge pool, and with only a small amount of guests I never seen more than 2 people in it, however plenty of people could dip in. The spa looking part (sitting area) could sit 4-6 people. I don’t know if the spa features work as I never tested it out. The water is refreshing. Colder than the July beach water in the islands, though much needed when escaping Athens heat.

Rooms: Bed was super comfy, shower and bathroom was large considering the age of building and being Athens. 2 people can fit easily. Our balcony had 2 chairs and a table and looked out to a wall of greenery. Room 14. There was hanging space, though no draws. We were staying 3 nights and lived out of our suitcases, so no issue to us. It is open space, no cupboards to hide bags etc. Safe is small, doesn’t fit iPad, not many places had one though to do so.

Safety: felt safe at all times, all staff are lovely. Neighbourhood at night has lots of foot traffic. Very safe location.

Overall, wish we had more days and would recommend.

Nearby musts: Restaurant: Atlantikos - great authentic Greek seafood at exceptional prices. Not a tourist trap. Christmas shop: Little Kook - opens 12pm each day. Bakery: Crème Royale - to die for! The custard bougasta was the best we...

Came to the country to celebrate my Wife's 40th birthday. From the time we got to the location from the airport we felt like we were in a different world and at home. We were Greeted by the hostess Karina informed of our room and breakfast. Karina was kind and provided a place for us to eat while we killed time so we could officially check in.

Breakfast in this place was amazing, I had eggs scrambled hard with gouda cheese everyday. Then the tomatoes and I love tomatoes were to die for. They said it was orange juice but I don't believe them because I get heartburn everytime I drink orange juice but not theirs lol. I am sure it was orange juice.

It is crazy because the boutique hotel was comfortable the bed felt too good because we didn't want to get out of it. Once you leave your room you feel the elements of outside but not truly. Hard to explain it you just have to experience it.

The view of the Acropolis from the rooftop in the morning and in the late hours of the night are to die for.

In the evening we wert taken care of by Margaretia who would make sure we received our breakfast where ever we wanted in the hotel. Both her and Karina made it hard to leave them both times. Each time we were to leave before breakfast they made us breakfast to go. Best hands down.

Next time we come to Athens we will definitely stay here no matter what. I didn't want to write a review because I don't want certain people going and ruining th vibe there, but this place deserves an exceptional review. Wish I could give it more than 5 stars because it deserves more. From the staff to the location and to life of the city.

Hotel has only 20 rooms so make sure to get your...

Asomaton : Fake, lies, false informations about the rooms ! Run away from this place !!!||It is not a boutique hotel. Is it not charming. And It is over priced for the quality of services. Asomaton : Fake, lies, false informations about the rooms ! Our room view on scaffoldings, ruins construction, dump, feeling not safe at all, terrible view on Athens !! The pool is tiny, extremely cold, dark. The entrance of the hotel on the street is not welcoming at all. It is NOT the paradise boutique hotel they are selling to us ! |Here are in the photos the view of my room number 15 and the view of the pool. Very different as the beautiful photos to highlight the hotel on booking.com IT IS EXTREMELY DISHONEST TO DO THIS TO SELL YOUR ROOMS !! We are extremely dissatisfied and disappointed. Highly NOT recommend !! The manager told us : ´it is not sold as rooms with view ´ ! Ok, 😂 so we said look at your photos on your website and booking.com we told the manager ! So terrible dishonest attitude from the hotel !! I went to so many boutique hotels around the world and this is one of the worst !!!’Please please please, Run away from this place !!! ( I mixed some of the photos I took of the hotel and some photos of their brochure so you can see by yourself lol ) . Just before departure of the hotel I wanted to chill in their extremely cold pool but the manager told me I could not cause clients were sleeping on the two sun bed waiting for their taxi !! For god sake !! My god it is definitely NOT a place to relax at all !! Athens is full of beautiful hotels, don’t book this one !! Despite all this nightmare I want to precise that the staff Helene and Apostolis at breakfast were...

We had pest problems in this hotel. We woke up at 4 am since there was a bed bug crawling in our bed. Near our bed, we also found an army of ants crawling. We immediately evacuated the room and contacted their staff. In the morning, a staff member provided a temporary place to rest and later confirmed the pest problem. They soon provided another room for us to stay in. After check-out, I asked for a refund for the first night since they didn't offer a comfortable/decent stay as promised on their website. However, the hotel manager provided a complementary one-night stay instead. They explained that no previous guests encountered any pest problems and they conduct monthly inspections. They suggested that the pests may have come from guests, which I agree with only partially. This could be the case of bed bugs, but the army of ants could not have come from our suitcases. We also arrived in that room only evening, which is certainly not a sufficient time to summon an army of ants. The staff was very helpful and quick to deal with the unfortunate situation, but pest problems are not what we expected from a boutique hotel that costed 240 euro per night for us. Also, offering a complementary one-night stay is rather unrealistic since we are not willing to stay in this hotel anymore and we could not go Athens just to take this offer.
