The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Chania Old Town. Walking distance to anywhere within the vicinity, Old Venetian Port, Splantzia, Lighthouse, Turkish quarter, beaches etc. The hotel is also very close to municipal parkings, which is very important.
The hotel room is a bit small but cozy and nicely decorated. Every detail is thought and planned for the guests, even a kettle, nespresso machine and some complimentary capsules. The room having a balcony is a luxury in my opinion. Sipping your early morning coffee in the balcony and listening to the calm streets of Old Town are wonderful.
I would suggest a few of improvements: Additional drawers would be super useful as the closet space for clothes gets full immediately. I was solo so I was able to manage it but it would be a bit difficult for couples in my opinion. Night stands and work stations are able to take some drawers underneath. Bathroom needs some hooks to hang the towels. Since the glass doors are ceiling tall, doors cannot be used to hang towels. There is limited space in the balcony rails. And lastly, the overflowing water from the shower to the bathroom floor may a safety issue for elderly people, so a squegee or a floor mop to wipe the water away after showering is great solution to that.
The hotel service and their employees are very friendly and talkative. In my last morning while walking out the door, I met one of the employees Katerina, who was really lovely and helpful. I would...

Read moreThe entrance is unassuming as it is merely a door between shops. If you are checking in, you'll be given a code to unlock the door if it is locked. Irene, the receptionist, will arrive shortly if she is not already there. She is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and informative. The room we had was on the small side but fine if you are traveling lightly. The balcony overlooked the street and the view was varied : some construction or unfinished buildings and lovely balconies with plants. The space was comfortable, and modern. The shower is great - both a rain shower and a hand held but the glass surround is not big enough to contain the water. A bit of mopping with extra towels solved the issue. The location is wonderful as it's on a quiet street (shops, not restaurants or bars) in old town and the cafes and restaurants are nearby and plentiful. I would recommend this hotel as the price was right, the hotel was clean and modern, the location was perfect for eating, shopping, museums and the beach, and the staff, Irene and Katerina,...
