Magic View Suites Mykonos — Hotel in Municipality of Mykonos

Marina View apartments are situated just above the Old Port of Mykonos, and have a stunning view!||We stayed in two en-suite rooms next to one another - they shared a veranda with tables and chairs, and we had a private deck with the most amazing view - also with tables and chairs.||Rooms were modern and clean, with aircon and a new bathroom. They had a small kitchen area with a moveable wooden island type table, small fridge, basin and cutlery and crockery.||The docking station was great - went really loud so we enjoyed drinks and food on our veranda often.||||Zoi - our host - has stunning taste and I absolutely love the white decor. She is very helpful with any info you need.||||Wifi didn't reach our rooms but we went to laze on the many couches and chairs at the lobby area - around 5m from room to go online.||There wasn't always hot water in our shower - forgot to check why - but it's so hot we really did not want a hot shower!||||I would love to stay again - especially when the pool is complete||||Public transport is really not easy in Mykonos - we had to find wifi, search for the number and call for directions - and walk from the port ( wasn't far - just hot! ) we had expected to jump in a cab but the aren't many so plan how to get to the apartments...

I had one of the most surreal and disappointing experiences I’ve ever had with a host.

The apartment I received was not the one shown in the pictures. The listing shows a private balcony, giving the impression of honeymoon vibes — like you can relax in bed and enjoy a sea view. In reality, people walk right in front of the balcony, which meant zero privacy. I had to keep the curtains closed the entire time, and since the window behind the bed is fake (just a rock wall), there was no natural light at all.

I left after the first night, returned the key, and gave the host the opportunity to re-rent the place. When I kindly asked for a small refund, he acted with complete arrogance and even told me to “call the police” just for mentioning I’d leave a review. Later, he called my review a “threat.”

Honestly, the host is unprofessional, disrespectful, and completely unwilling to take responsibility. I don’t recommend staying here — unless you want to pay full price for a misleading listing and be treated like a problem for...

We stayed at the Marina View for two nights in September 2014 after being recommended it by our hotel in Santorini (Blue Dolphins).||The hotel is located about a 5 minute walk from Mykonos town and is elevated so it has excellent views of the sea, sunset and Mykonos town. It was so relaxing on the balcony and enjoying such an amazing view. The hotel is very close to the old port for ferry departures and about a 10 minute taxi to the airport. ||The suites are very clean and spacious, and have free wifi. Our suite had a large balcony. The price was also reasonable for this time of the year.||Unfortunately there was a big storm during our stay (the first one in many months) but Zoi was very accommodating and gave us advice about the ferries and places to eat and drink in the town. She helped us to order delivery pizza and a taxi to the port.||We highly recommend this hotel to anyone...
