Thanx to Katerina, Maria and their studio, I had maybe the best experience from Mykonos the last at least 15 years ( I visit Mykonos since I was a kid in 1985). I go very often to Mykonos for business of my company that is located in Ibiza, where I also mainly live. So the main factor for my staying is the view. And those Apartments have the best view to Mykonos town, not only for the money I paid but even for studios with a 10x cost! It is simply amazing!!!
Katerina and her mother are such sweet persons, always willing to help. They also clean everyday, giving new towels and changing sheets if needed!
The area is very quiet but also in a strategic location, where you can easily go wherever you want by avoiding a huge part of the traffic. Restaurants, cafes but also one of the biggest super markets on the island are in a walk distance from the apartments.
I made full use of the big veranda outside of the room which is of course shared but tourists are never there, they are always out enjoying the island. So I had a huge space to work on my laptop while enjoying the view and of course the sunset!
The room itself is clean, comfortable, with a brand new bathroom but at the same time giving me the vibe of the old Mykonos that I loved so much!
From arrival to departure everything was perfect! It has been a long time since I haven’t enjoyed such hospitality combined with an old school Mykonos treatment, warm and friendly!
From now on, Maria-Katerina Apartments will be my first choose for my staying in Mykonos!
Thank you for everything, looking forward visiting...
Read moreWhen I first came across this place on her own website, I worried that it was a scam. I turned out to be the best thing I’ve ever done booking this apartment. We booked a twin self catering apartment which can with views to die for. |I can not praise this apartment enough, comfortable beds, awesome views and nothing was too much trouble for the live on site owner. |The apartment gets a daily clean and regular changes of bed linen. The apartment had air conditioning and a really nice kitchen and bathroom. ||As the apartment sits at the very top of a hill, the walk into town is quite quick bit walking back up it can take it out of your legs. I Recommend hiring a scooter, quad or car if you can. There is a bus stop a short walk away which we got to Elia beach. Not sure if any other buses go for the bus stop which you need to hail the bus. ||There is a supermarket a short walk away (5 mins) and it gets very busy with locals as it’s great value. There is also a few cafes and restaurants close by but we didn’t try these. ||Only downside is you can hear some noise from the other apartments but this is to be expected||I can not recommend this place enough. ||Thanks for a great...
Read moreHad a 5 day break as part of an island hopping tour. The property is situated a 15 to 20 minute walk from the centre of Mykonos town that can be by road or a bit shorter using pathways and steps, but be prepared for walking whilst you are there. The room we had appeared to be part of the original structure with no balcony, however others within the complex did have. That said, our room had a window with shutter and a raised area outside with chairs and a table to enjoy the scenery with a morning coffee and at night with a glass of wine. The room was clean with a kitchen area, modern bathroom and air conditioning. The owner Maria Katerina is friendly and clearly has pride in the hotel and serving her guests. Maria gave us a lift to the ferry port and wouldn’t accept recompense, however we made our own way to the accommodation on day 1 from the airport via taxi that cost us €40 that appears standard. This is excessive for a less than 15 minute journey and is obviously no fault of the accommodation, merely the costs in Mykonos nowadays. I would recommend the...
