La Ricetta Rhodes — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

26.8.2024, General: on a busy Street, try pizza instead of something else, good service mentality but some errors in execution. No clue If there's a toilet/WC as there was no need for.

Food: Mozzarella salad. First bite was nice with the balsamic vinegar and some pesto, but let's face it: Rocket, Mozzarella, Cherry Tomatoes (mini plum tomatoes really), Balsamic Vinegar, fresh basil (i found none, tasted none and really would have liked to have some), olive oil (did not taste any and none was visible) and green pesto (too little) is a mild combo. I had to add salt and pepper which were provided to The table though. 0.5L beer was cold. Not a place for salads. They identify as a pizza place, so. Maybe next time some pizza, If i choose to come back. The La Ricetta salad was ok, but also could be better. Almost the same as ceasar salad. Also the portions could be bigger. 2-/5

Service: well handled and as expected. 5/5.

Atmosphere: on the side of a very busy pass through street. 2/5.

Overall: it's an ok place, has good service mentality, the salad lacked ingredients, was a bit bland and the noisy street does not help much. It was a nice effort but requires more precision and perfecting....

Absolutely an awesome restaurant. It's little bit Off the main roads for tourists, so maybe it was not stacked because of that. It's much cheaper than all the restaurants we had tried before during our stay, yet the food overpassed all the previous ones. Customer service was awesome and chill. We took a La Ricetta pasta and a tuna pizza. The pasta was so good, that I cannot even remember when I ate better pasta :D Perfect balance of cream, mozzarella, pesto taste, chicken and tomatoes. Pizza was also the kind of pizza, that I really would not wish for anything else.

Hope this review helps you to choose this hidden gem :)! If you are looking for fancy restaurant to propose your gf to, then this is not the place, since there are like 6 tables. But its perfect for chill Dinner to fill your...

Looked long and hard on Google for a pizza place in Rhodes and came across this one,its a short walk from the blue sky Hotel we are staying at and we wanted something we could eat on the balcony with the sea view. Incredible place,lovely fresh pizza and a gluten free option for myself too which was very very nice. Waited around 10 minutes after ordering and took it away. One of the nicest if not the nicest gluten free pizza...
