Mascot Garden Rooms — Hotel in Municipality of Rhodes

Perfect location close to the beach, restaurants and shops, from where it is easy to reach the harbor and not far from the Old Town. The most underrated advantage is that it is located in a narrow pedestrian alley. In an area covered by large hotels and noisy bars/restaurants, you can actually get the feeling of staying in an old and quiet part of the town. But the good things don't end here. The external courtyard, where breakfast is served, it's comfortable and cozy (also good for small picnic style meals). We also had the opportunity to see the inside of 3 of the rooms and the pictures, although enticing, don't make them justice. And to finalise, the owner is one of the nicest and friendliest Greeks I have met (and just that says a lot). She is always willing to help with information, tips and suggestions, going out of her way to accommodate some requests. The stay is also highlighted by some treats here and there, but I won't say more so not to spoil the surprise. You won't have some of the amenities of the bigger places, such as an continuously open reception, but in my opinion that only adds to the feeling of getting home every time you arrive. My husband and I stayed at this hotel for four days on a pre-babymoon trip, and we could not have been happier. The owner is the most warm and welcoming host we have ever encountered. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay, including giving us great recommendations for things to see and do in the area.

The breakfast was also amazing. It was large, filling, and had a variety of options to choose from. The chef was so sweet and even made us some special dishes upon request. The room was beautiful and had everything we needed, including two bathrooms, new towels, bottled water, and daily housekeeping. They even surprised us with a plate of fruit one day!

The hotel is also very intimate, which made it easy to meet other travelers from all over the world. We had some great conversations with people and really enjoyed getting to know them.

Overall, we had a fantastic stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable pre-babymoon or vacation. It is...

I spent 1 week in Mascot Rooms.||Pros:|- Very good location, close to everything |- water every day in room|- cleanliness is 10/10|- breakfast is good (not so varied, but fresh)|- staff is Nice And cooperative: had to change Room because of noise And the owner was helpful with that 100%, the new Room was totally OK And I could sleep |- working And silent AC||Cons:|- little space for breakfast so it can be difficult to move around And we have to wait for every other guest |- i found one cockroach in my Room|- most of the rooms (especially those whose Windows look onto the dining area) are noisy, the soundproofing is very very little, you can hear everything, neighbours, staff preparing breakfast, other guests AC working, etc. If you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs or choose another place|- rooms are quite humid And dark, but...
