Booked this hotel via booking.com. Arrived eventually after being directed incorrectly on numerous occasions by locals. Hotel was located on a narrow street hence the difficulty in finding it. Courtyard on arrival looked very run down and grubby. We were shown to our room by a very enthusiastic staff member. A few things we requested had to be requested again...ie extra pillows, breakfast requirements. Our room thankfully was ground floor, couldnt have coped with the stairs. Room very very basic. Clothes rail for hanging and no storage space. Space around the bed was so tight had to go to bed sideways! First day there went to take a shower and the shower rail and curtain collapsed hitting me on the head. Management said they would sort it...5 days later still not sorted so bathroom was always wet. Breakfast was appalling...waitress asked if we wanted tea or coffee...which we wanted tea...then poured us coffee...this happened everyday. Breakfast consisted of bread, jam, butter. A one egg omelette was offered . After coming from Turkey and knowing their fabulous breakfasts we had to endure this basic offering, come one Greece please do not say your food is similar to Turkey!! Table was big enough for one person and extremely rocky as were the chairs. In the morning the kitchen lady would hose the terrace outside our room, the water was coming through the bottom of the door and soaking our shoes which we left sitting as we came into the room. On the day we were leaving we were told our luggage could be stored in Room 3 which was their storage facility. When we got to the boat we realised a small bag had been forgotten and we contacted the owner/manager. He said he would check. We were then advised that the bag was gone. We said he would check with the other staff. No bag turned up. We asked he he would check the security camera as the bag had a very expensive pair of trainers inside...again nothing and was told ||a week later that a guest must have taken them !! So valuables stored in their storage unit is at your own risk even though there is no disclaimer nor are you told your luggage can be taken by other guests!! ||||Overall very basic, poor service, especially at breakfast we started to buy things in the local shop to actually have a decent breakfast. Heard other guests complaining about their rooms too. ||||We would definitely NOT come to this...

Read moreThe hotel has a lot of positives: the location is excellent — everything is within walking distance and the neighborhood feels very safe. The staff were kind, helpful, and responsive. Breakfast offered the basics to start the day, and our room was spacious enough for two with a comfortable bed.
On the downside, the overall feel was quite standard. There was a pipe from the air conditioning leading into the sink where water was dripping, and after showering there was often water all over the bathroom floor. Also, there was no space to store personal items in the bathroom.
That said, considering the price, it’s still a very good...
