Wifi was great in the room and lobby. THE SAME BREAKFAST EVERY DAY!!! Every day we had 4 triangular pieces of ham and cheese, 3 small pieces of margarine that were served to us on one plate, in addition to that 4 loaves of bread and 2 croissants, and we can also take our own jam and honey if we want, and there is a coffee machine (espresso , cappuccino, tea) and jugs with water and juice. No yogurt, no milk, no It's an understatement to say that the breakfast was bad because I'm sure that not a single woman could get enough of it, let alone a man. We saw people bringing their own food and eating it all there. And we also saw people who only take coffee and a croissant with jam, and then go to a restaurant to have breakfast. It's scary that a hotel can have two stars, but they bring you the same breakfast every day. In their defense, I just have to say that everyone is extremely kind and cordial, willing to help us with anything we don't understand in the city or to direct us to the desired places. Certain rooms do NOT have a terrace, and this is NOT stated when booking the hotel. You reserve a room in the pictures, and when you arrive at the hotel you get a room according to the "available funds" - at least that's what we were told. Our room had two single beds pushed together, a closet for things (there was no room for a wardrobe), barely any space around the bed (two people can't separate), a small bathroom and one small window that looked into the corner of another building so there was no sun at all. They changed the towels once during our stay, and I'm not sure if the bed linen was changed. I didn't notice the vacuuming or mopping of the floors because the hairs were present on the floors all the days of our stay. They emptied the trash can everyday, that's praise! Also, there was always hot water and wifi was good in all parts...

Read moreBefore I arrived at to the hotel, I worried a 2 star hotel won't suffice for our needs (A vacation with friends). I found out the staff were really really friendly and understanding, the hotel itself is very aesthetic and looks really clean. The room I was is fine for 2 people, not more. They clean the rooms every 3 days which is perfectly fine. The air conditioner worked fine, a bit small but does the job.
The best thing about this hotel is- The Location! Its leading right into a main street with lots of restaurants and stores, and you can get by foot anywhere, the first day we walked anywhere and it was a hell of a fun. You can walk to the ancient part and to the marine.
Everything has bad sides, and this one has too: The "breakfast" is not like the standard breakfast I use to, it is more like a "Snack-fast". They offer some slices of bread, cakes, honey, margarine, cornflakes and milk, they also have a coffee machine from the kind I don't use, I would prefer a capsule one, but it seems like others liked it.
The television didn't work, couldn't watch anything, the staff said there is a problem with the network and they will bring someone to fix it the next day, it wasn't fixed, the TV didn't work the whole weekend, but it was fine, I wasn't there to watch the TV, I wrote it just so you won't be surprised.
The bathroom door is none existence and the water are pouring on the floor and you have to mop it with your leg because there is nothing to mop it with (I didn't try asking for one from the staff). The rooms are not sealed, you can hear everything in the hallway.
You get over the minors because Rhodes is amazing, overall its a great...
