While reading all the other comments about this hotel I thought 'wow, it is going to be terrible'.||To be honest, you cannot expect more from a 2 star hotel. It is not fancy, but it is OK.||We have lived there for 7 days, on the 3rd floor, no bed bugs, no cockroaches, no ants, we couldn't hear any neighbors. The cleaning ladies came every day, except for Sunday. They took out the trash, changed the sheets, gave new towels every time. Of course, the towels and the sheets are not new, you can clearly see that, but they were clean and all right.||Almost, if not every, room has a balcony where you can dry your clothes, there are some chairs and a table for you to sit there and enjoy your stay.||You live in the middle of the town, everything is close by. Cafes, clothes shops, restaurants, etc.||But of course, there are some disadvantages. The cleaning ladies come to clean the room almost at any time of the day. Sometimes they came at 10 am, sometimes 1 pm.||I definitely recommend ordering AC in the room, because the first night we didn't have that and it looked like the sheets are definitely 'biting' (probably just mental biting from all the horrible comments). But once you sleep with AC on - it's all right. No biting sense whatsoever. It costs 5eur/day additionally.||The safe for all your important things isn't actually in your room. It costs additionally 9eur/week and it is located on the ground floor, next to the reception. In my opinion, probably not the safest place to keep your most important things if you live on the third floor. ||The wifi also costs additionally if you want to have it in your room. But you can only sign in one gadget. Nevertheless, if you know how mobile hotspots work - you will have no problem here.||The breakfast, yeah, repetitive, every day the same thing, and yeah you do have to wait till they fill the trays again and bring clean plates. But you get your food. No worries.||If you are worried about the noise from the street( the hotel itself is quiet), because the hotel is really in the middle of the town, you can ask for a room which is not facing the busy street but facing the inside yard. In any case,at night, turn on your AC, close the balcony door and everything will be alright. Buy some earplugs just in case! Pharmacies are on every corner here.||I do not recommend this hotel if you want to spend your holidays lying on a bed, eating fancy breakfast, watching flat screen TV and enjoying bubble baths. But if you plan to travel the island itself, go sightseeing, sunbathe on the beach and only get back to the hotel to sleep -...
Read moreI arrived at the hotel late at night, there's a calm bar on the bottom floor with the reception, so it was good to have someone there at anytime to check in. The staff were friendly and I was taken to my room. I was on the third floor and the room had two single beds, one bed sheet had a stain on it so I used the other bed. Other than that the room was clean and well prepared for a new visitor. The room was basic, but for a solo traveler it had everything I needed and felt safe. || Breakfast was very basic, and some of the fruit int he bowl had gone off. There was fresh cut watermelon each morning, ham, cheese and bread with a juice machine. For the amount I paid for the room I can't complain so far.|| The real highlight of the place is the location, it's right near the old town and also Elli Beach, there's so much in walking distance which was great. Also, it was a 5 minute walk away from a bus station which allowed for easy trips to other locations on the island. || I also had a mix up with my check out date (not the hotels fault) and missed check out. I returned to an empty room and the staff were very helpful. They explained what had happened, and that all of my things had been packed in my bag for me and left behind reception. Nothing had been missed from the room and everything was in my bag as they'd advised. They were also really helpful in that they said I could stay the night again if I had nowhere to go. My flight was at 2am that morning, so I didn't need a room but they let me use their bathroom ect throughout the day until I left, which was great. || A few days after I got home, I started noticing red marks all over my skin that were all itchy. I went to my doctors who advised I'd been bitten by bed bugs. Whilst I was at the hotel I did notice a couple of spots of blood on the sheet, which were obviously from me being bitten, which I dismissed at the time thinking I'd itched too much or something. It's a shame this has happened as otherwise it was a great stay for the kind of holiday I was after, but the bed bugs did leave a bad taste in my mouth...
Read moreFirst of all, I have to say that before my trip when reading other traveler's reviews I didn't believe that this hotel is that bad. It is 2 star hotel and of course it can't be perfect.|I am not that demading guest, I just want to have normal and clean room.|But this hotel doesn't offer that.|Here is what is really bad about this hotel:|- When we walked into our room, there was water everywhere, turns out that water was from the fridge.|- There is only ONE electricity socket in the whole room, so you have to choose if you want to charge phone, watch TV or whatever.|- Ants are everywhere!|- Sheets and towels where changed only once, after 7 days because we literally begged them to do it. After couple days they finally changed it.|- Room was NEVER cleaned, for 10 days. He was really rude and not interested to help. |- There is a bar near the hotel so the music was really loud, I personally don't care about noise from the street but somebody probably couldn't sleep.||Here is what is good about this hotel:|- Location.
