Tarantino Sandwiches & Fries — Restaurant in Municipality of Thessaloniki

This was hand down the best burger I have ever had. I found out about the restaurant online. The staff was very friendly, the menu is in English as well so it is very tourist friendly. The music and the ambience are amazing! There aren't many restaurants that offer sweet potato fries but you can get them at Tarantino's and they are delicious paired with their special sauce. I have also ordered regular fries with cheese and bacon and oh boy was I in for a treat. The portions are huge and the taste was incredible. The stars of the show were the burgers. Perfect medium rare as I ordered them, buns very soft, homemade pickles on top of many other things. The beer was also good, they have IPA, a nice change from regular Greek beers other restaurants serve. What makes it special for me is their sandwiches made with the best quality slow food meat - personal favorite: pulled pork. Don't forget to add sweet potato fries with truffle mayo to your order, they are the best in town!

But in Tarantino, it's not just the food that will bring you back. It is the friendly smiling faces in a cosy place with the best hip hop tunes. It is the aesthetics and every little detail taken care of from the owners.

Definitely an extra is its spot. Located on the street with one of the most interesting histories in town, next to the hippest neighborhood, Tarantino is perfect for a late night bite combining the old with the new.

I had heard from a TikTok video about this place in Thessaloníki. When I visited it for a night on a business trip and wandered around the city Centre I was reminded of this place from a good friend who visits Thessaloníki regularly. I tried the jerk chicken sandwich ( by far the best one I have tried in Greece) and the, crunchy yet juicy, sweet potato fries. Excellent food quality, nice staff. I would say it is slightly overpriced but i forgot all about it, after the first couple of bites.
