We went there for breakfast. The menu was very limited and the prices were too expensive for the quantity/quality of food same with the drinks. 80€ for 2 drinks and 2 dishes, anyway, you basically pay for the view (which is actually amazing, nothing to say about that) more than for the food. But here it comes, In total we saw 3 people working in there(front of the house), two of them were quiet unfriendly and not in a very good mood, not very smiley/happy either. Maybe they were tired or whatever, meanwhile, Nishad was a wonderful man. He was so polite and you could see him smiling to each one of the guests, being so helpful and warming. He was having a small conversation with one of the guests while clearing up the table when one of the other 2 workers called him up in a very bossy and rude way, smiled at him in the distance but once he left the table and went to her i don’t know what she told him but definitely didn’t look very nice and her face was quiet mad.
I’m a server myself, and I do have some small conversations with clients to make them feel welcomed. They love it and I do as well. They weren’t very busy, and I’m pretty sure there was no rush at all to call him out like that not being rude to him.
Also, when they got us the food, there was no cutlery in the table (which is fine, I do forget abt it sometimes too). Nishad wasn’t around so I asked one of the ladies for it plus some salt and pepper, she brought me the salt and pepper and even tho she saw there was no cutlery, still no cutlery was brought, so we ate our dishes with our hands which we didn’t care but please 😭.
Once again, thank you very much to Nishad, he was literally doing the best of that place, even more than the view. Hopefully he gets treated better and get paid enough cause he deserves it. Other wise, I wish he could find a better place to work. MUCH LOVE TO HIM. NISHAD, YOU ARE DOING GREAT, YOU GOT...
Read moreI recently visited here in Santorini. It boasted breathtaking views and an enchanting atmosphere. The setting was truly magnificent, offering a memorable dining experience. However, I must admit that the food was a major disappointment. It was by far the worst I've ever tasted, leaving me unsatisfied and longing for a better culinary experience.
To add to the frustration, the prices were exorbitant, which made the overall dining experience even more disappointing. However, amidst the culinary letdown, there was a glimmer of enjoyment. The live singer at the restaurant provided a pleasant distraction and added a touch of entertainment that somewhat salvaged the evening.
In conclusion, while the views and ambiance of this restaurant in Santorini are undeniably stunning, the subpar food and high prices may leave you wanting more. If you're willing to overlook the culinary aspect and are in search of a beautiful setting with live entertainment, it might be worth a visit. Otherwise, consider exploring other dining options on the island to fully enjoy your...
Read moreHighly disappointed. The staff were friendly enough, but the service was terrible, I had to go up to the bar to ask for a drink. Food was presented ok, but tasted average, considering the price. My meal was supposed to be slow cooked lamb, but it was 3 small lamb racks chops that had been bbq’d and overcooked. The staff were too busy flirting with tables that paid them compliments, having shots with them Etc, rather than worrying about two people on their own. Our empty plates sat on a table so long we left with them still sitting there. The only positive is the location. Save yourself some money and go to Fico or Anogi instead where the service and meals are...
