Kaleidoscope Oia Suites — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

I had the chance to stay in Cave Suites and Blue Dome suites which in my personal experience was awesome both room types had their own beauty. The cave suites had a Jacuzzi pool outside the room however you can see the pool from the room inside. The view is super cool but won't be possible to see the caldera dome. The pool of this room is outside however only the guests who are staying above this room has the way in front of this room which means have limited privacy but better than other pools in the other hotels which can be viewed from the top or anyother balcony but has complete privacy from people who are outside of this hotel. Regarding the white dome suites which is above the cave suites is another superb room to stay. The room is very large and has completely private pool on the terrace. You can see the caldera view from the top but won't be able to click pic with caldera view staying within the pool. I would say this my be the only pool with complete privacy where no one can peep otherwise somebody forcefully try to peep. Since this is at top you can see the view completely downwards.

This hotel is exactly at the centre and has access to all tourist spots. I went at offseason around October last week, so all other hotels were closed mostly, but you have all the good spots to yourself.

Stayed in the Mystic Suite with hot bath. Overall, it's clean. Honestly, not worth it. It is overlooking the sea but not the sunset. For sunset view, u have to stay in the direction where the windmills are facing(google Oia castle/windmills of Oia). Small smart TV is provided but u have to use your own account to log in (including Netflix). If u don't have any of those platform accounts, the TV is basically useless. No local channels. Other places in Greece we stayed provided this basic necessity. The outdoor hot bath is semi-private at best, if there's people staying in the above floor, they will always pass by you in the hot bath (public corridor). The design of the place is semi-circle, if you are tall, you may bump your head on the concrete ceiling when u wake up from bed. One side of the blinds are half-visible where people out there can see you and the insides very clearly. Not sure why such an easy fix was not...

Je fais suite à mon avis sur Booking car j'ai eu une réponse peu convenante et vous avez fait preuve de MAUVAISE FOI, me faisant passer pour une menteuse ? Surtout que ce qui a été écrit était juste : l'hôtel qui nous a aidé n'était pas l'hôtel "jumeau" comme dit dans leur réponse. De plus, pour les heures de départ et d'arrivée, vous auriez pu reconnaître qu'avec nous cela avait été compliqué pour nous dû à un manque de communication !

Le + : La chambre avec le jacuzzi super confort rien à dire avec une vue sur la mer incroyable ! Petit déjeuner avec une vue mer également à 5 minutes à pied de la chambre, au top Ainsi, 5/5 pour la chambre

Les - : Pas le même numéro entre celui sur Booking et celui de notre hôte. Nous sommes arrivés à 17h et nous avons eu notre chambre à 18h car impossible de joindre la réception. Nous avons littéralement perdu une heure à chercher comment avoir notre chambre et au prix de la chambre ça nous a vraiment contrarié. Une réceptionniste d’un autre hôtel a joint notre hôte et nous a vraiment aidés. Notre hôte nous attendait à 10:15 à notre chambre et nous le reproche mais Booking annonce le check in à partir de 14h! Comme indiqué sur Booking et après avoir échangé avec la réception , elle confirme que nous devons libérer notre chambre à 12h. A 11h, notre hôte vient nous voir et nous informe que nous devons libérer la chambre à 11:30!!! Again, à ce prix là, se faire mettre dehors même si ce n’est que 30 minutes en moins, ça nous pose un gros problème... Un autre point,(pas très grave en soit)le petit déjeuner. Nous avons pris le petit déjeuner dans un café à 5 minutes à pied de la chambre (le Vitrin Café). Notre hôte nous laisse et le serveur nous précise que l’on ne paye pas comme c’est compris dans notre « forfait ». Donc nous avions la carte avec les prix et on ne savait pas ce qu’on avait le droit de prendre. Il aurait été bien de préciser par exemple : une boisson froide, une boisson chaude et un plat salé et/ou un sucré etc. Cela était gênant pour nous. nous ne voulions pas abuser non plus. Nous avons attendu longtemps également (arrivée au petit déjeuner à 9h, repartis à 10:30), cela nous a embêtés car nous voulions profiter au maximum de notre chambre (ne sachant pas que nous serions OBLIGÉS de quitter celle-ci à 11:30 au lieu de 12h c’est d’autant plus frustrant). Cependant, c’était très bon. Cela manquait juste de communication et nous a mis un peu mal à l’aise.
