One of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Not only was the service abysmal, with the rudest waiter I've ever had the misfortune of being served by, but food! Oh the food. Im not too sure where to start but €8 for a tiny plate of hummus SERVED WITHOUT BREAD and another €8 for a single sausage on its own... this isnt even funny. These are prices you expect to pay in a top restaurant, not a tiny little cafe infested with flies and rude hosts.
The food was average but based on the prices I'd have to change this to very poor.
Hugely disappointed all in all. I'd avoid this place all together as there are hundreds of better spots in the town.
To management, you should review your prices and/or portion sizes and DEFINITELY find a new host. Having somebody so rude and uninviting be the face of your business is a mistake and will only lead to a bad reputation.
I d not apologise for the review as I felt I've been completely and utterly honest with...
Read moreReally nice restaurant in Oia! It was recommended to us from our hotel and we were happy we went. It wasn’t crowded at all, it’s a little off to the side from the main area which can be a nice escape from the crowds. We got the Kyprida Salad, Koopes, Koupepia, and the fresh fish with vegetables (sea bream). The salad was absolutely delicious, and she kindly added tomatoes on it because I was hoping to have them included. The dressing was really nice. Highly recommend the salad, it’s not your typical plain salad. The Koopes were really tasty, nice texture and crunch from the outside shell compared to the soft center. The Koupepia were good, but we liked the Koopes more. The fish was really delicious and cooked perfectly, it came served wrapped in parchment paper. It was a beautiful presentation. Really kind service and overall...
Read moreThis was our final day in Oia and we were looking for somewhere relatively inexpensive to eat. Kyprida is somewhat hidden down a short brightly-lit narrow path but the menu and prices caught our eye. My 12 year old daughter asked the owner for a table for 5, not seeing the "Opening at 5pm" sign outside. It was 2pm-ish. The owner made an exception for us, opened the restaurant early, her husband waited on us while she cooked. Half of the menu was not available yet but that was fine. We felt extra special, were treated really well. The owner and her husband were delightful and we really appreciated their flexibility and hospitality. On top of this the food was delicious! Good sized portions, super fresh and top service! I would come back in a heartbeat and intend to do just that the next time I am...
