We LOVED our stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by George, we knew we were in for a very special and memorable experience. With only 5 rooms in the entire âhotelâ, the experience was personal and exceptional. George welcomed us with a thorough tour of the hotel, and provided some fascinating history of the property and the art collections spread throughout the property of which each room had its own âthemeâ. Our room was immaculate, and beautifully decorated with art, sculpturesâŚas if we were staying in the room of a private collectors home. ||Each morning we were brought a delicious breakfast (that we could order that morning and that was included in the cost of our stay) to be delivered by the most attentive and professional staff to our balcony - a balcony that overlooked the Aegean Sea. Spectacular views could be seen on our balcony of the breathtaking Santorini white buildings landscape. Everything you would expect to see but BETTER and from the comfort of our private balcony. ||Each night we drank delicious specialty cocktails prepared by the bartenders and enjoyed the sunset. Peaceful and perfect. No foot traffic or interruptions by other guests and passerbys from our balcony!||The hotel pool was absolutely stunning overlooking the sea. The pool essentially felt like our own private pool given the hotels boutique nature, with occasionally one other room using it while we were there. ||George made excellent restaurant recommendations on the island, and we had what felt like âthe bestâ tables at each of the places arranged by our hotel. ||Ultimately, all the staff were so friendly, professional, attentive and knowledgeable. Shout outs to George and Eleni, Mondi, Alex, |the breakfast and pool team, the housekeeping staff⌠||Oh, and I canât forget to mention that I contacted the hotel prior to our arrival to let them know it was my husbandâs birthday. At the end of our initial tour with George, when George brought us to our room and unlocked the door, we were surprised with an incredible, gorgeous, and insanely tasty heart-shaped cake in honor of my husbands birthday. George proceeded to light a candle and we celebrated the birthday with this amazing cake. We kept the cake for the duration of our four days stay in the refrigerator and every night had another piece. Was seriously one of the best desserts we had our entire trip. :)||We truly loved it here and I teared up when we were checking out to leave. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE TSITOURAS COLLECTION HOTEL. I would return tomorrow if I could...
Read moreBravo The Tsitouras Collection Family!!! I'm a pickey person, but I this is a rare 5 stars I gave. We are young couple with an one year old. We had stay in 5 star hotel, luxury seaside resort, historical private home around the world. But The Tsitouras Collection is our best stay so far. It's impossible to talk about all the great things but I'm gonna try. 1:the view is absolutely amazing, but the hotel set up enhanced the sunrise and sunset viewing experience. When we stayed in TC Villa, I woke up in the morning and staying on bed to watch the sunrise from my window, without waking up my baby. When we stayed in The House of Porcelain, when it's super windy and cold, we had breakfast and dinner in our dining room, seeing the amazing sunrise and sunset right through the window; 2: great host and kind staff. They turely welcoming their guest and trying to help wherever they can. Eleni helped with so many questions before the trip, George showed us around and introduced the amazing artworks and the amazing architecture. Whenever staff sees us, they come and carry luggage which means we have free hands and have more time to walk with our baby.3: the hotel itself is a real piece of art. First day I didn't recognise the hotel door but seeing other tourists taking pictures outside of the hotel. I was like, oh, must be very beautiful place, let me wait and take one picture as well. And then, boom! we stay there. we walk around the hotel with our own pace and it was super super nice 4: I have to mention a few services set up that are really thoughtful: anytime breakfast, you know schedule is unpredictable when going out with a baby; breakfast cooked and bring to your room anytime you name it ;big bottle water supply- just think about the time that you searching bottle water during your trip and carry them back to you hotel room, climbing all the steps; bottle water is ready in the room; you don't even need to ask them to bring bottle water, they really give you more than enough; luggage carrying and airport transfers- btw average cost for one way airport transfer is âŹ45. staying here you have nothing to worry about. 5: I leave this at the end because I think whoever chose this hotel, would really appreciate the precious art pieces anyway. Therefore I don't need to say anything more than: take your time with have a look these beautiful and ancient art pieces. The art pieces truly make the entire experience to a different...
Read moreI feel a bit bad leaving such an honest review because George and the staff were great. Please note that I only want to improve the experience of future guests. ||We stayed here for 5 nights. They truly made us feel special and treated us like family. If you needed anything, they would have it to you within 5-10 minutes. George helped us with scheduling transportation, massages, directions, and sooo many recommendations. Sunsets cocktails are very yummy and the breakfast was good. There was quite the spread of food! The A/C worked great inside of the room. The location was great and we felt very safe here. ||We had high expectations for this place. Itâs a top rated, 4 star hotel here in Santorini. We have stayed at many, many places and were very disappointed with the cleanliness of our room. We were absolutely baffled that no other review mentioned this issueâŚ.||When we arrived, it was obvious that the room was not cleaned properly. I immediately noticed that the dining tables werenât even wiped down. There was residue on it from the previous guests. The floors werenât cleaned well, the furniture was stained and dingy, the headboard had white stuff on it (I donât even want to know what),the bathroom mirror was dirty, and the small bottles of soap were previously used. There was long black hair in the bathrooms, on the walls, and the floor. |We noticed all of this within 10 minutes of being in the suite. It made us feel uneasy. It makes you wonder if the towels and bedding were not changed/cleaned as well. |The towels and robes are in desperate need of replacing. They are hard, stiff, and scratchy. Not the normal fluffy and nice towels/robes that every nice hotel has. |The pillows and bed was ok. Not the most comfortable, but it was fine. |There was black stuff on the walls in the shower. Not sure if itâs mold or what it is. |The Wi-Fi only worked in the sitting area. |The lounge chairs at the pool were stained. |The pool was too cold to swim in (no heater) and there was no hot tub. ||My hope is that management sees this review and takes action. I only want to improve the experience of...
