I did a Stand Up Paddling Tour with JC and it exceeded all my expectations. It was my first time on a SUP board but JC gave me an introduction that made me feel really confident. We went early in the morning when the lake is smooth, which was very enjoyable for me to learn it. We were on the lake for about three. All the time you have these amazings views of the volcanoes. We took a break to do yoga and we went to a spot where we could jump off a cliff into the lake. Two cute dogs went with us and stayed with us on the boards. JC takes care of street dogs and also supports the people of San Antonio (a village close to Panajachel). Ask him about his projects. Overall the tour was one of my favourite experiences during my trip and gave me a different perspective...

We spent a whole week at Panajachel and stayed here for the entire time. Super awesome price and great for younger crowd. The staff was always friendly and ready to help with any questions we had about things to do or places to eat. The owner JC was incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive. I highly recommend you reach out to him in case you need transportation to Panajachel from Guatemala City, he can arrange for very friendly private shuttle service and will also counsel you on where to exchange your money. The street can get a little loud in the morning, people start their day early over there and on Friday and Saturday nights as well. House keeping is done at request and they offer laundry service.
