Hotel Foldana — Hotel in Budapest

There were only 25 TV channels available on the TV, and none of them were for kids. On the second floor, the room which close to the elevator, the Wi-Fi didn't work at all. If a little water spills while showering, it flows towards the door. We specifically chose this hotel due to the room size, but it proved to be a poor decision. This was by no means a four-star service; a three-star rating would have been far more accurate. Additionally, we were charged 20 euros per night for underground parking, it is quite expensive. For a room meant to accommodate four guests, there was just free 2 coffees and 2 fruit teas was quite disappointing—though we were, of course, grateful for the hotel's "generosity." It is advisable to stop by a supermarket before arriving, especially if you're traveling with children, as finding food later on is quite a challenge. If you're staying with young children, be cautious about the heating system. Even though the room can get cold at night, the heating cannot be activated due to "external weather conditions," which made the situation quite uncomfortable. ⚠️ Unethical and Intimidating Behavior by Hotel Management After leaving a fair review, we received a public reply from the hotel’s “director” filled with personal insults, xenophobic remarks, and unprofessional language.

Examples from his response: • “Since that requires a certain level of intelligence…” → personal insult • “I don’t know where you actually come from, but in Europe…” → xenophobic • “…you would still dare to leave a review…” → denying guests’ right to feedback • “Several guests asked us how long you would be staying…” → disclosing private conversations • “Since I know you do not speak English…” → belittling

📸 Screenshots already show shocking unprofessionalism, but in person it was worse: • Raised his voice • Refused to help • Used highly disrespectful language • Followed us into the parking lot, making us feel unsafe

Wow. I was really impressed by the room. It's like a house, with a big living room, a kitchen, a bathroom and a master bedroom, plus a big veranda. The beds were excellent, and the soundproofing was excellent. I usually can't sleep in a noisy place, and here I slept like a baby! What a superbly equipped kitchen, with plenty of utensils and appliances and high-tech heating surface that heats incredibly fast and only the exact circumference of the pot you place on it!!! The cleanliness was very good. If you take care with the shower there's no leak, but if you let your kid splash around then you'll have to mop a bit but that's no problem. They even have a clothes washing machine in the bathroom and an oven in the kitchen! We couldn't make the TV play normal ground tv channels (our kid was watching YouTube without a problem), but it has a Vodafone kit, so if you're a subscriber maybe you can put your password and watch Vodafone tv.
