I am Hungarian and I can tell this was a great experience. You have to order the food at a counter, the lady who is taking the order was friendly, you get a beeper and you pick up your order inside the building. There are plenty of tables around even when it gets busy. Food preparation took around 10 minutes. I had the Wiener schnitzel, one of the most popular foods from their menu. It was huge (450g), fresh juicy pork meat and crispy breaded, fresh crispy fries and tasty pickles. I am 176cm, 84kg and I managed to finish this menu then the famous Flodni cake and two soft drinks 😜, I was hungry. Waitresses will collect your plates when you are done and will clean the tables. Prices are according to the target tourist audience but I would not say too expensive. The only thing what was not transparent in the calculation if they added some service fee, however on the display was showing 0% tip. So tip and service fee may be different. I am sure there is written explanation somewhere, in my opinion just be more transparent. You can pay by card. I wish 0 stars was an option. We ate here during our recent trip to budapest and I couldn’t believe what they served to us, it was repulsive and I couldn’t have more than 2 bites. To top it off the repulsive food also gave me salmonella. I’ve been off work for over a week, spent 3 days in hospital and had countless rounds of antibiotics. Do not eat here it is a public health hazard and should be closed down.

Note: I would like to add that this is not an insult on the culture, as it was my personal preference that I did not like the food. However seeing as everything I ate the day before and the morning leading up to this lunch was the same as my partner and this meal was the only thing that differed, I can be fairly certain that it was this food that made me ill. The food taste amazing! The presentation is great considering it’s not a proper restaurant. Although it is on the pricier side but we think it was well worth it. The portion were big, the food was freshly made and ready within 5 mins! Exactly what we needed.

The weather was great so we really enjoyed our time eating outside. It’s probably a different story in winter time. Though, They do have a table seat inside one of those plastic Igloo for colder days.
