ooked this hotel based on the stunning room photos and excellent reviews. Only upon arrival do you receive instructions on how to enter the room and discover that it’s actually in an apartment building shared with backpackers, with couches in the entrance and unpleasant smells.
The apartment itself is exactly as shown in the photos, beautiful, clean, and fully equipped, including a kitchen. However, the dirty and uninviting building entrance, especially at night, and the absence of any reception after 5:00 PM make the first impression extremely unpleasant. The elevator is very small , it can’t fit two people with suitcases.
Guest service via WhatsApp is very responsive, but the in-room safe was not working. We contacted guest services four times, and each time they promised to fix it, but nothing was done until we left.
The property is not suitable for wheelchair users at all, a wheelchair cannot fit into the elevator.
This place is only suitable if you want to save money.
Following my previous review, I was contacted by the property after my departure with a demand to pay for a “lost key.” I had already sent them clear photo evidence showing that all keys were returned. This feels like an unfair and unacceptable attempt to charge for something that never happened, which left me even more disappointed with my...
Read moreBeautiful suite in a strange building. When the host Eyal sent me a video of how to store our luggage and check in I was a bit apprehensive as the building looked a bit run down. Once we got into the suite section I felt a little happier. |The location was great, minutes from ruin bars, restaurants, hop on bus stops etc. | The suite itself had everything you could need, we had a deluxe suite which was slightly larger than the suite my sister was staying in. Plenty of towels, tea/coffee making facilities, air conditioning. Fridge with water. |Only a couple of minor things: |1. Room overlooked a busy main road and it was very noisy with sirens going off all night. |2. Limited tea and coffee, not replenished. |3. Water in fridge on arrival but not replenished. |These were such minor complaints but worth mentioning. |The best thing was the communication we had from Eyal. He gave us very detailed instructions on how to check in, to use the luggage storage, checking out and plenty of recommendations on our stay in Budapest. Virtual reception is not for everyone especially if you are not tech savvy but...
Read moreWe booked a double room from Monday to Thursday morning at this accommodation. Don’t be fooled by the old looking building entrance, the rooms are actually very nice, newly renovated and clean. Some comments mention the noise, but our room was very quiet so I think the noise level depends on which side of the building the room is located. The best part of this accommodation is definitely the location. You can reach it easily with the bus 100E from the airport, it’s very central and you have everything within a short walk. What made our stay even more comfortable was Gyozo, he took care of us from the moment we landed till the very end. He is a very polite and accommodating young man. Very attentive to the guests’ needs and if he’s not physically available, he’s very responsive through WhatsApp. I wish there was a Gyozo everywhere I travelled to! Thank you very much for making my first experience in Hungary memorable. Hope to be back...
