The biggest disappointment was that I was given a smaller room then what I had booked. When i entered the room i immediately called the Grey Apartments team and their first reaction as to deny that the room was the wrong one. After a bit of arguing they accepted that they had made a mistake and given me a smaller room that was on a lower floor and offered to refund me 40% of what i had paid. The refund did come through but unfortunately a refund does not compensate for the sleepless and disturbed nights i experienced. |Now the reason i had picked the room on the topmost floor was because i had seen reviews about noise from the street and from upper floors (if one is on a lower floor) so i booked the topmost floor for this reason. By giving me a lower floor i experienced disturbed sleep due to both street noise and from people on the floor above walking. The Grey Apartments team also blamed Booking.com for the incorrect images and for the mess up in the booking but i counter argued that the images on booking.com are uploaded by them and they should change them to reflect the correct rooms.|The Grey Apartments team needs to be truthful in how they describe the rooms and also how noisy the rooms are from both street noise but also from the rooms above. They should improve on sound proofing between the floors as its not right to offer apartments on rental when one is aware of the problems with the apartment.|The kitchen was also poorly kitted, with minimal cutlery and crockery and they need to definitely add more items to make it realistic for someone to cook in the kitchen|Overall, i would NOT recommend others to book this place unless you are desperate and until they improve on soundproofing and also upload the correct images on booking.com so that guests have a correct information prior to...

Read moreThe owner of this place clearly does not care about his guests. He gave me the completely wrong code information to check in, causing me to be locked out upon my arrival. The number he provided didn’t work - he was completely unreachable !! ||Everything else in the city was booked. Imagine flying for 7 hours to arrive at a place you’re locked out of at 11pm when it’s dark and cold, and having nowhere to go. That’s what happened to me. ||Finally 3 hours later he responds on email, completely casually with a different code. He had given me the wrong code!! The jerk didn’t even apologize!! It was 2am by the time I was able to get in.||The very next night 2 additional travelers knocked on my door at 11pm. They claimed they had the room booked as well!! So on top of everybody else, the owner had double booked it!!! I have no idea what happened to these poor people who were very clearly in an even worse position than this person had put me in the night before. ||The accommodations themselves were very bare for the high nightly rate… the shower/tub difficult to get in and out of, if you have mobility issues you’ll have problems with this. ||The real issue here however is this negligent, completely unapologetic and rude host.
